Video is good for the most part and I have some feedback: Do a once over on your subtitles, there were a couple times they weren't accurate, not a big deal but it hurt the quality of the video. And I would have loved some time stamps of each card! It would have made this video easier to use as a tool in deck-building to hear your thoughts on an individual card instead of having to manually scrub through the video for the specific card or just scroll to the end of the video and assume your thoughts (For example, you actually think iblee is really good but it's not good as a generic card but as an engine piece and I don't get that from just scrolling to the end of the video and seeing where it's placed in the tier list, which I suspect a lot of folks will do. Time stamps would make that less likely to happen I think.) Thanks for putting out the awesome content! I can really tell you have an intention to make quality competitive content which I super appreciate :)
Just imagine traveling back in time to 2010 and telling a yugioh player from that year that in the future you would have one of the best, if not the best player in the world making high quality youtube videos about his opinions on the format and on the game, it is actually a blessing the more you think about it. On a different note, may I know your opinion on shaddoll fusion and on magical spring? I have considered them as options for a branded side deck but due to how niche they are I am unsure yet. Thank you and have a nice day!

I would love to hear your in depth opinion on the different decks available in this format, there is no other content out there where one can learn so much
Ash Blos really feels like a double edged sword this format. It WILL save your butt even against the decks that can exploit your use of it, but again if they exploit that usage optimally they might sometimes just destroy you off a TTT or Hiita. Typhoon seems like a weird option to even consider siding with how little it does, but Monsters being treated as Face-Up Spell/Traps are at an all time high, and often accompanied by a more standard Continuous or Field Spell. And just sniping that other card unexpectedly(or even the monster if it lacks a good floating effect) can throw an opponent off their game significantly. It's definitely not main deck worthy though and doesn't do a whole lot against Destruction Protection or floaty cards, and can't hit SET cards at all, which is the main reason it's usually not even worth mentioning after Pendulums stopped being overused. For decks and players that want to OTK when going second, Monster Theft cards are at their strongest, just stealing an Apollousa temporarily is often enough to win on the spot for those people(especially if you can turn it into a Zealantis after using any relevant monster negates). Evenly Matched is ONLY really viable in decks that can set up disruption entirely through backrow after breaking a board as a result of the risks incurred from cards like those and Kurikara, and even then those decks have to watch out for Dusters and Cosmics after siding(Imperial Iron Wall can stop Cosmics, but ANY monster effect activation risks inviting a Duster or Lightning Storm to your face).
That's why I side Ash for game one. Idk if I'm going first so I don't want to draw the Ash and risk having a target for Hiita. If I know I'm going first then I added to my deck because I'm already running fire monsters so it doesn't matter if I run Ash or not.
Yes I like this type of content. Although I play MD but 1. I can reflect and make choices. 2. I understand the true meaning behind some of these techs (I very much liked the board breaking Ogre moves) 3. I enjoy this type of breakdown content especially from pro player
I have been testing magical spring ( In branded but still ) and I gotta say the card feels VERY GOOD when going for a board breaker approach, its good against voiceless, and the fire decks. It is most of the time a draw 3 discard 1 which is pretty useful when playing against huge boards. Anyway, good video, the quality has leveled up since last time. Congrats on your win, I rooted for you the whole time and I'm glad you won.
I like the subtitles in these videos. Sometimes i cant have the videos playing with volume or have headphones but i like to see whats being said. Id just suggest your editor or you to double-check them because there were times when there were words that were clearly not what you were actually saying. Other than that, yeah, great addition to the videos

And congrats! I hope to duel you one day. But what about the little guy at locals only ?
Thoughts about lancea? I know snake eyes don't really revolve around banishing, but it can stop called by and crossout, which has been seeing play recently. It can also stop cards like cosmic when they try to hit your field spell. I feel like it's has some merit to it. Most likely for the side deck.

Was testing Ogre the other day. Does quite a lot mid or beginning combo against Snake Eye.. either hitting oak, Ash sometime even Formula / Savage dragon
The winner of the Philadelphia regional had silent graveyard in their side deck, what is your opinion about that one? It’s kinda crazy because he won 10 to 0, and had no hand traps in his main deck, but most of his side deck was hand traps.
I think it would be a good idea if you had a guest in a video or stream. As an example. You could play against Joshua Schmidt in a Twitch stream, in a remote game. He does this on Twitch against viewers. He is the biggest Yu gi oh streamer in Europe with 4 Ycs Winns. It would also increase your reach in Europe. And the spectators would like to see two of the best players play against each other. You could play multiple decks whoever wins first with 3 different decks. is the winner of the stream.
what do u thnk about shaddoll fusion going 2nd? u can trigger ariel to banish 3 cards from grave (forcing princess), draw a card and your apkallone can negate ip (forcing a premature sp) or apollo
Personally I kindof like dark ruler against the pure snake-eye as a fire king player. Mainly because if I enter the grind game with pure I feel more comfortable because the fire king cards can do an extra push. I especially like it when they go for the 2 card combo that ends on the baron + I:P + flam + Borrel since it turns of most of their disruption and let’s you relatively build a board through everything else. That being said, I only like the card when playing fire king because of the fact it has a good grind, so it feels safe. Still want to test it out a bit more but yea. Love the thoughts on droll, I used to main it and then realised it really didn’t feel that good unless they A: play into or B: have a really bad hand. Also what are your thoughts on Lancea? I’ve been testing it and kinda like it. It, as a handtrap, is already good into decks like rescue ace (makes it awkward when they can manually summon things by banishing), D link dies to it, certain branded lines struggle, Floo loses a lot of their grind cause everything goes to grave and most importantly it shuts down cards like soul release and cosmic for if you are going first and pass to opponent (also shifter depending on what you can set up going 2nd in terms of resources like Garunix etc). Also cuts off the banish effect of original and wanted but thats just a really small thing. Oh yea, it also stops Crossout for your opponent.
@@jessekottonygo I love the cool edits! Although the blue box for the subtitles is extremely distracting in this long form content and would probably be better suited for shorts/tiktoks.
Thanks for the information! I have been trying lots of non-engine this format, and am always looking for insights into the meta. I actually mentioned towards the end and gave my thoughts so give it look when you get the chance!
How do you not include dimension fissure
Thoughts on different dimension ground and solemn strike/solemn scolding? Thought they would have made your list
Would soul release be OK to play this format against fire
I'm curious where Magic Jammer would place as a Thrust target in particular in the current meta.
thoughts on shaddoll package?
Tbh not a fan of playing into anti-spell more👀
What do I do with the 100 Soul Releases I bought?
I’m praying for a good turnout 🙏🏽
Love the new edits
Thank you so much!! We're only gonna keep upgrade from here!
@@jessekottonygo I love the cool edits! Although the blue box for the subtitles is extremely distracting in this long form content and would probably be better suited for shorts/tiktoks.
Hey Jesse, why did you played only one diabellstarr in your UDS list ?
Felt like more than one was bricky and could recycle easy enough
This did help me a bit. Though I'm playing raidraptor
Thanks for the information! I have been trying lots of non-engine this format, and am always looking for insights into the meta. A card I didn’t see you mention is Spooky Dogwood, which is a card I saw played during the UDS. I know the explanation for why it’s used is simple, so Im not really asking about that, but would you run it?
Haha not the biggest fan of that card but the plays do take extremely long so I had to play them for the uds
Would be interested to hear your stance on ghost sister & spooky dogwood
Can i just say thank you jesse for getting me back into the game that is yugioh
Thanks for coming back and sharing the support that got me where I am in the game!
What's about shaddol fusion
Thoughts on Lullaby of Obedience?
Wow this vid is amazing ur effort of this video is magnificent,I always listen to ur opinion on Yu-Gi-Oh as u are one that smartest best players kinda like Pegasus u know ur opponents moves lol.
You have no idea how much I appreciate the support and peg was one of my favorite characters so thank you!
@@jessekottonygo ur welcome sir good luck in all ur endeavors!
What do you think about Chalice after seeing it in the UDS?
It definitely went it hard and effect neg while not triggering talents/thrust is interesting 👀
Whats your thoughts on monster reborn currently?
yo jesse, remember the rose dragon adventurer deck you made, if i tweaked it, do you think it would be good?
Hey maybe you discover some hidden guu, who knows? 👀
Thoughts on Red Blossoms from Underroot?
A cool video idea could be if you were building a non-fire deck to beat fire king snake-eyes how you would go about building it
A couple cards that has poped up lately that i would interested to hear about is strike and magical spring. Im guessing you rate strike pretty highly since you played it but would still be interested in how you rate the two
Following you on twitch now, how often do you stream?
