- NES Tetris B-Type 19-3 was always something I hadn't got around to doing and thought it would be fun to stream sometime and see how many attempts it would take for me to get it. I didn't think it would take less than 2 minutes...

I think, if you are motivated, you could make serie made of a few videos on you learning to roll. You could show your progress throught rolling PB and B-Type and add a few interview of rollers in there. Just an idea.
I agree this is a good idea. I'll definitely try livestreaming as much of my early learning process as possible

I do wish there was a "clear all the garbage" version of this mode, but gg beating it regardless; always nice to see solid improvement in a game SeemsGood
this exists somewhat in a mode called checkerboard. which is like b type with the worst possible board(alternating holes/minos). you must clear every single row down to the bottom in order to clear it. preferably in as few lines as possible

How did you get Tetris gym on nes?
Not to take away from your achievement, because it is awesome! I was just wondering how the RNG behind the garbage stack generation compares between native NES Tetris and Kirjavas implementation in Tetris Gym. I had the feeling, that the generated stacks differ between these versions, but that might just be an unbased bias. Does anyone know?
it's functionally the same.
I don't have the same expertise as fractal but one of the critical things about B-type is that the topmost left square in the garbage is always left open, basically forcing you to put your first piece there on higher difficulties and limiting your options. The square was left blank in this run as well so that aspect was at the very least exactly the same

yeah lol. Occasionally I would play 19-2 but I never did 19-3 because I wanted to get it on stream, and never got around to doing it while I was streaming

Ich spiele auf Emulator Tetris GYM v5 und versuche auch 19-3 zuspielen. aber es ist zu schnell als bei Dir. Sogar 60-60,5 FPS. Woran liegt es Fehler?
