I really want Lari to be rediscovered by the younger generation. Both her and Holly Dunn are largely forgotten and it really tears me up. That has to change. Neither got the recognition that they justly deserved in life. Only 105 comments on this video is completely atrocious. There should be Millions and Millions of views and tens of thousands of comments. So many of Lari's finest songs were never released as singles. I can say the same about Holly. These two will always hold a special place in my heart. It's ironic that both their careers were pretty much torpedoed, by radical groups protests over what had been CMT Pick Hit Videos Music Videos. Holly with "Maybe I Mean Yes" in 1991, which had been her highest ever debuting song and Lari with "Wild At Heart" in 1996. Both voluntarily had the songs and videos pulled just as it was starting to get allot more adds around the nation, and both were never treated the same by Radio again. Basically "Black Listed". WAH was Lari's only video for ill fated "Don't Fence Me In" CD. Which should have been huge. It weas packed with big hit songs. They also soon after lost their record deals. Holly with Warner Brothers in 1993, and Lari with RCA in 1996. Just within a few weeks of having "Wild At Heart" pulled. When she signed with Lyric Street, I expected her to be treated much better. Here again they were to cheap to produce a video for the first single the title cut of her "Stepping Stone" CD, and that whole brilliant album was just as poorly marketed as "Don't Fence Me In" had been. Both "Ready Willing and Album" in 96 and "Stepping Stone" in 1998 conked out just shy of the Top 10. With Music Videos they probably would have at least cracked the Top 10 if not the Top 5. Lyric Street was too busy pumping up the Dixie Chicks and Lari seemed to be a low priority. They let what should have and could have been a Multi-Platinum Album fall by the way-side. Oh, for what might have been.

I love her songs and use to sing my heart out listening to her. In my younger days we all use to have a blast listening and trying our hand at karaoke. She was one of my favorites. When i heard she died i cried. RIP Lori White you will not be forgotten
One of the most beautiful Women and voices ever in Country Music. I was so completely in love with her. She had so many awesome songs that were never released as singles and one of Lari's singles called "John Wayne Walking Away" a song that Faith Hill wanted badly, was totally snubbed by Country Radio. I was told that the title was to blame. I found that to be a very lame excuse. Go listen to the song it is on RUclips and it is great if you have never heard it before.

I saw Lari at the Bluebird Cafe, and when she did this song, she said that somewhere, she had a cassette tape of Garth Brooks doing it, as a demo. She said that one of these days, she was going to find it and blackmail him with it! Such a great lady, with an amazing voice. RIP, Lari White!

Loved this woman, I mean I loved her so very much! Easily the most underrated Country singer ever. Most underrated recording artist ever. Most amazing voice in the entire industry. Nobody else had such range. Every single album she ever had was more than good enough to be a Multi-Platinum seller. She just never got that kind of push, or they easily could have been. Both her 1996 and 1998 albums were phenomenal, but very poorly marketed. Few people knew about them. So many awesome songs left unreleased. A server lack of Music videos didn't help either. Thee Most Beautiful Woman in Country music in the 90's I felt, even over Shania Twain. Lari White should have been at least as Big as Faith Hill, but never got that sort of push. Still Lari won 3 Grammys and that's damn impressive, even with lousy support from country radio. She was never a favorite of Radio programmers who apparently knew nothing and cared less about great talent.

Country radio needs to play more of her music, especially all of the classic country radio stations, and, while I'm add it, I'll include Serious XM satalight radio witch plays 80's and 90's country.
