Very well done both of you. I do wish more holiday makers, and foreign residents would get away from the costas, and visit the beauty of inland Spain. It has so much to offer, and the people are so welcoming and helpful.
You are fantastic! Thank you for posting this amazing video adventure! Have never ever seen anything, that could be measured with this video! Great filming and great courage of both of you! Regards from Sweden.
You have my utmost admiration, I have known about this walk for some years but never made it down that far in Spain spending most in the Pyrennes but always wanted to do it but felt at 63 I wasnt fit enough. Now after seeing you struggle through I am not so sure. I wish I had made the effort but now I no longer visit Spain for 6 weeks every year like I used to do. Its still on my bucket list. Anyway thanks again for posting such a delightful video, good luck to you. both
Me and my girlfriend just watched this and we think you...the woman...are the coolest woman ever!!!!! I'm 37 and my guts for doing cool things like this went out the window long ago...but, seeing this just made me realise it's never too late. thank you!
Bravo I am so proud of you two, I could never do this but am so fascinated with this place and its beauty! After discovering clips of this on here yours is my favorite one. I like how you showed the canyon below and all the beauty surrounding the path, the railway tunnels were so cool too and I think more exciting going that way and crossing the water, thanks for your bravery for all the world to see!
@foxxvixx Heheh You were sooo brave tooo heheh. It looks so inviting to do that walk. I think you handled it better than I would have. I would have froze up and whimpered heheh. Thanks for sharing the video.
Hello: I was born in El Chorro, thanks for this great video, now want to restore the Caminito del Rey, know this fact? in the train metal bridge was filmed part of the movie "Von Ryan's Express" by Frank Sinatra, a greeting. Martin
Great video! Well made and well edited. I don't know how you had the presence of mind to make a video while teetering a mile above a yawning abyss, but the results are great. And your star is cute. But how do you know that the little rope along the wall would support your weight if you fell?
@andyd01 Thanks, it is deteriorating, but not for much longer, there are plans to turn it into a tourist attraction, so this would inevitably mean substantially reinforcing and changing the appearance of the walkway. but at least you wont be in danger of being arrested as you walk through the railway tunnel to or from it, (I imagine )
I walked in from the top entrance which I recommend to those who are too frightened to approach from the pipe end. It starts easier and most like I can make it too and across the pipe. I was too fightened to continue beyond the pipe. I wish I knew a lady as adventurous as the lady here. Lucky Man. The walk through the tunnel is worth doing for the spectular views where the tunnel opens. Part of wild Spain with flowers and birds. Memorable.
is there an alternate path getting to the valley and on the caminito avoiding the tunnels and the via ferrata? maybe to the right of the green train bridge direction makinidromo?
Well Done, awesome way you choose, please tell me why are you using an ATC??? And Congratulations for the trip.. I dream on day make this fabulous way hugs..
Most of the other videos show macho men bigging themseves up for their courage. This lady shows with a bit of common sense it is an adventure and worth doing by anyone with average capabilities..
Старая тетка борется со своими страхами как в последний раз в жизни, а жадный до денег гид тянет буквально ее по небезопасному рельефу ради баблишка... Ничего грандиозного и тем более смешного ..
They officially closed it with notices, presumably to cover themselves against accident claims.; However the tourist office will still give directions. You're not supposed to go through the rail tunnel, but a lot do. It's a pity the same attitude does not exist in the UK. Railway tracks are sometimes the best walks. Who but an idiot would not stand aside when a train is coming.(don't walk HST lines) I've not been prosecuted yet--told off yes-- but hey ho.
This is the most astonishing RUclips video I have ever seen.
Congratulations on the walk and the video!

what I want to know, is how was it made in the first place?
how did they get the materials to stay in place?!
I was so scared for her when she had to go across the first rail that had nothing under it at all. I had to pause it for a few minutes.

It was illegal to be there at the time of this video because it was so dangerous. This was trespassing.
Great place. It would appear the maintenance man died years ago?

06:14 ah ARE U F*****G KIDDING ME.?!!!!!!! :O
Isn't Spain beautiful enough without having to watch your mates and family fall 2000k. I'd rather be boozing it up in Madrid.
