she was a tad rough out there. loving the series so far. thanks for taking time to document it. Reminds me of my cross US tour on my goldwing from Canada down to Key West then across to LA. 34 days of fun. I had documented everything for my website at the time, just not for youtube. It wasn't a thing back in 2010
Yes this was a dirty stretch we went through. I would say some of the worst so far. Thanks for watching and the support. We love hearing from people. Feel free to share the channel around.
You two were in a martini shaker for quite a while. Nice helmsman talent to keep up the speed in lumpy conditions. The short 20-mile run from Newport to Fisher's Island can be really rough even when you don't expect it. I noticed the dark blue gel coat on the Albin looks a little chalky and faded -- the Albins built in RI had notoriously thin, lousy gel coats. I hope you don't have to make 10 hours runs every day -- that turns the trip into a dull delivery marathon instead of a coastal cruise. LI Sound should be gentle into NYC, but the run from NY down the NJ coast can be quite unpleasant in the wrong conditions.
Yes that was a rough day. We ducked in behind Fisher’s and it was much better for the last stretch. My buddy that was on the wheel and owns the boat said that gel coat cleans up bit fades shortly after going back in the water
Okay you guys hands down rock. Like exactly what I wanted to see. I have 28 TE fro 2002 near Annapolis. I am not sure of your status but there are lots of us in the neighborhood that really think you guys are amazing. I wish i had the time to do this.
Thank you, appreciate you taking the time to watch and subscribe. This trip has been a blast and there is plenty of videos to come. This Albin28te has been great so far! We love hearing from people and appreciate the support so share the channel around if you could!
From Canadian Flavored Florida to real Florida would be a wild boat ride 😅
Always thought about going threw the great lakes down threw then back up the coast after a visit in the Bahamas 😅
Albin made amazing boats. What a fantastic boat.

They don’t look like that’s any fun.
Plenty of fun, not all days are smooth sailing. That is what adventure is about.
