I enjoy your makeup videos and I especially love the way you do your eyes. Companies put SD alcohol in formulas to help them spread more easily and to boost the preservative systems. It can be drying or irritating for some people, but it actually evaporates quickly. It’s funny that the Maybelline serum foundation is “controversial” while the L’Oréal serum foundation, which also has SD alcohol pretty high up in the ingredients, is not. They are both owned by the same parent company. Thanks Margaret, I’m happy to see you in good health!

I also really like the Pacifica eye shadow palettes. Also, one of these days I really want to try Bobbi Brown's new make-up line, Jones Road Beauty.❤
Wonderful look and you are lovely! No worries about the alcohol because it enhances dry down and preserves the foundation agaist bacteria and fungal growth. There are people who may have superdry sensitive skin that it might bother. Of course the amts. are varable and arent listed specifically. There a big fuss over talc too which also is a bunch of nonsense. So you did a great job and also helped push aside unbased fears! Thanks again for your great job as always❤

Love the total look especially the eyes. You are such an experimentor adding the Pixie corrector with a highlighter and a concealer. What a great idea. I have the Pixie corrector and even with concealer on top I can still see a slight peach tint thru it. I will have to try your idea.

Those “too dark’ and ‘too light’ foundations in my drawer are finally having their day. But one thing I must disagree with - your eyes are not hooded by normal standards!

I turn seventy in a few weeks and am always excited to find a RUclipsr who addresses the concerns of those of us in our Golden Years. 😜 I do have to confess that I have basically given up wearing lip gloss due to the way it loves to travel to those lines above and below my lips, even though I ALWAYS use a lip liner.
You might try powdering with pressed powder after you apply lip liner, and before lipgloss. Also, different glosses have different "travel" rates. I have had good luck with Maybelline's Lifter glosses.

That is a great suggestion. I have tried the elf products. They don’t last as long. It’s a simple as that. The Jen C products last all day. Seriously they’re beautiful. What expensive but I prefer them.
Seriously it is the best liquid diet shadow I’ve ever used. It is a little expensive and for me it’s only available in the United States, but it’s just a good product in my opinion.
I wish more older women would watch your videos. How can anyone say that makeup doesn't make one look and feel better?! I tell you again that you wear blush beautifully! I have such a round face that it makes me look too red faced....or something....I haven't found anything that I think looks good....but you give me hope!!!
Looks lovely Margaret, I have never worn foundation, but never with out my bronzer and mascara my primer is white, I have stuck with it because it’s a tub mascara and it just washes off I love that no makeup remover, liners are wonderful especially when one has wrinkles around the lips . Chemical allergies limit what one uses. Rubbing alcohol which is one of the chemicals I am allergic to. Being near blind without my glasses doesn't help either. I need something different
