But Kaela said on stream that it's okay if Kronii's happy, she's happy and Kronii already knows about her situation. So all good.

I'm not an English teacher or anything but here is how I would distinguish as a native English speaker. The v sound is not generated in the mouth... It's generated in the throat. Kaela, in her efforts to distinguish, pronounced the letter too hard when it's the soft pronunciation that would have made the error obvious.
Try it. Pronounce the letter v very gently, with very little force. If it sounds like a pressure cooker releasing steam, you're pronouncing it wrong. It should sound like low humming, and you should feel your throat vibrating deeply.

If there's one thing about this part is that, Kaela would feel bad, but should also be proud that she learned from the experience.
It'll build self-confidence and experience. I'm sure Kaela will look back after she's learning to pronounce better in the future. Her Accent is what makes her who she is, after all. There is nothing to be ashamed of who she is. I hope Kaela finds solace in that. I knew Kaela wasn't comfortable with it at the start but soon she's coming to terms with it and I'm glad to see she can poke fun at herself right now and she grew as a person. We all can kinda see ourselves in her making a mistake and we can see that they're all human. While people would make fun of the situation, it's also important to know that is what makes people, "People" and it shouldn't be any different. I'm glad they can be mature about it and solve it as adults. Part of the whole growing up thing.

Well, I think it's about different pronounciation for every country
Remember "ngaca" ? Kaela taught Biboo about it. I know if in English pronounciation, word ngaca is spelling "ngaka" because "C" in English has many different pronounciation depending on the word. Sometimes it spelled "K" (like Crayon, Country), sometimes it spelled like "S" (Citron, Cyber), and maybe "Ch" too (Cherry, Cheese)
However, in Indonesia, "C" always spelled "Ch" no matter what. That's why word "Ngaca" is spelled "Ngacha" in Indonesia
Same goes with "vlogging" and "flogging". We Indonesian can't differentiate "F" and "V", so that's why Kaela was very confused about Kronii's laugh

Imo, as an ID and a normies in vtube world, I personally would feel embarrassed & it's in fact kinda rude to non-native speaker if u continuously make fun of like dat in PUBLIC (would be okay if its 1 to 1).
Even after Kaela tried to explain that the meaning of the words depends on the context (1st is context & tone, 2nd is pronunciation) which I, myself believe thats true and the whole point when communicating with someone (on top of that she's not Eng native).
Yet, she continuously laughing & exaggerated with her coughing (yes, I know she's sick n that's the prob).
She could've just stop & explained it via pm or move to the other topics, but yeah good content/gimmick for both vtubers & clipper, isn't it?

also, I'm surprised so many self-inserting ppl here saying that "kaela is baiting kroni to laugh even more/kaela rolled with it/happy accident/etc."
I think thats just her being professional and would you want her to be upset/mad in front of the 3-4k viewers and while moona also there too? (bruh, think again)
while some proof in the comment like @KonekoArvi said that Kaela is very insecure with her pronunciation 🤷

@@ravikhay3056 u read me wrong my guy, "would kaela want to be upset/mad =/= she's really upset/mad" u don't get the context. Also, I'm not spreading the hate, my comments are not about dat. Most of the comments are acting like they're kaela/they know how she feels atm. I am sharing my personal opinion as if I were in Kaela position or as a normies ID viewer (3rd person) atm, which is getting laughed exaggeratedly about language u're not nativve in PUBLIC is an absolute no fun and plain rude.
And yes, I've read some of the comments saying she wasn't upset, and they did talk behind the scene and some say she is indeed insecure with her pronunciation.

IKR. People in the comment forget that in the next stream with Kronii, Kaela said "please don't say that word ever again". We don't know how Kaela really felt at that moment. But it is what it is.
      @Yenrei

Kaela already said that she wasn't upset, and they've already talked behind the scenes. She didn't really need to address this, but I respect her for doing it anyway.

Kaela said before that she's very insecure with her pronunciation and has shared this with Kronii off-stream. That's why Kronii felt so bad about it.
But Kaela said on stream that it's okay if Kronii's happy, she's happy and Kronii already knows about her situation. So all good.

Kaela still pronounce very as ferry till today,no one pointing it out from native speaker either they don't want to embarrass her or kaela doesn't wanted to be corrected as she said often "it's fine , it's ok English it's hard,Japan is hard let's use Passion instead "

0:55 I feel like she's not worried about the sexual term (which is why she mention the term from urban dictionary instead of the real meaning as punishment) cause she realized the term "flogging" nowadays politically being used by racist/xenophobic westerner on twitter as an excuse to fear mongering or downgrade some countries that use flogging, either if that was in the past or still exist or non exist at all, so that could be insensitive. But it's okay Kronii you don't need to worry too much that wasn't your intentions like that, it's all good.

Please don't mock ESL people just because of our accent, we really try our best to produce the sound 😂
But yeah, friendly banter always gladly accepted, but no mockering, that's all ;)
Edit: I also think Kronii and Kaela just joking around between friends, just a banter between friends, so yeah, all good, I feel bad for Kaela bcs I am getting personal but I think they are friend so it just not really that deep

the pronounciation and the accent kinda make Kaela weak in English speech.
But at the same time it gives Kaela her own uniqueness.
i can't blame Kronii for laughing at that, but she should more be clear with what reason behind her uncontrollable laughter (i think she did, but she can't clearly said it)
    nah, it's alright.
