Thousand Foot Krutch may not be my favourite band but they are definitely the band I'm most grateful for. Their music really helped me out.
This reminds me of The End Is Where We Begin and a bit of The Flame in all of Us. It's truely a great song. That opening riff and guitar solo sends Goosebumps down my spine to be honest.... And Now I'm ready for Exhale. Bring it!

This is such a good song. I've loved this band for years. I do like their variety of heavy and softer songs but definitely prefer the heavier ones. On first listen the opening instrumental section really grabbed me. The chorus is powerful and shows Trevor's vocal range and power off a treat. Also a guitar solo in there too, nice, like it. If this is a taster of the Exhale album coming out soon then I reckon it will rival "The End is Where We Begin" or maybe even surpass it.

If this is one of the mid-range songs, I'll like the album. If this is one of the heavier/more energetic songs on the album, I'll be disappointed. Both these guys and Red need to find their louder side again, in my opinion.

+TheZildjman Less soft than the album that preceded it, but more soft than all the albums before that. I really enjoyed their first 3 albums. Haven't been a fan of the last 2.
Ah, I'd disagree, but that's ok. I thought of Beauty and Rage was their heaviest by far. Songs like Imposter and What You Keep Alive were crazy heavy. Sadly, I'd have to agree when it comes to Release the Panic though. That album was weak.
TheZildjman I didn't take the time to look into it, but it seems like something changed with Red's song writing/production between 'Until We Have Faces' and 'Release the Panic'. I don't mind the concept of the song 'Imposter', but I'm not a fan of how it's mixed -> the strings seem louder than the guitar in that song which is backwards from how they always used to be (hard rock songs with orchestral accents). And while the main riff of 'What You Keep Alive' is nice and heavy, I'm not a fan of the vocal choices in that song at all.
So I guess there were moments where the 'heavy' factor was fine in the last album, but they still weren't as good of songs as their older stuff that was both consistently heavy, and consistently tight (everything blended together nicely). I'm assuming they're trying new things in an attempt to not sound exactly the same from album to album (which I can appreciate to an extent), but I think they have departed a little too far from their signature sound.

better production sound than Inhale that's for sure. The drum sound on Inhale was very soft, a bit like Welcome to the Masquerade. The End is the Beginning had an awesome drum sound
