I've used this gun too much I can't stop jumping irl now. Reality has blurred... help.
I always carried this as a utility item to boost movement speed at times on my Zane when I did not feeling like sliding everywhere with a snowdrift.
If you play in the zones with low gravity don't be surprised if you suddenly find yourself with an urge to hop in a wind tunnel for some indoor skydiving

How did you get a 20000 damage version? im on mayhem 11 level 72 and the one i pulled only does like 9000 damage and its horrible.
This gun alone makes me wish we had a character with a jet pack or at least longer jump time. Would also have made those while jumping Anointments actually useful too.

making a mod that gives the player lower gravity with the EMP9 out shouldn't be too hard, considering attribute mods already exist for jump height and movement speed.
found a hellwalker with mid air accurracy anoint while playing that katagawa ball mission (low grav). it was a blast.
This gun would rock in the Pre sequel.
Two usefull facts, It's actualy not considered as SMG damage, but plain gun damage, so only Dahl buff + gun damage buffs works.
And second, you can technicaly get Airborne anoint if you use anoint reroll while offline.

I got an orange Dahl SMG that boosts the fire rate while sliding. That's a skilled based weapon too.
Night Hawkin, Right? I personally don't like the weapon but I do respect that fact you can use it better than me since it seems like you do.
Vanquisher if I'm not mistaken, even harder to use than this. Might have to see if there's damage there.

I do agree it's a bit harder, I've used it for a time and struggled a lot with it. Even if I was use a Tobagon to say or a Snow Drift artifact, The thing does get annoying. It's a bit harder to snap over shots to enemies while sliding in such a minimal time is my personal reason and compared to the Crader, Seems to be a tad more annoying then jump shots essentially.
I do hope I can see a video on exploring the Vanquisher if you do not have one yet since I'm relatively new to this channel.
I think the one that activates while sliding is the hardest gun to use in the game
The vanquisher carried me through my first playthrough at launch but at max level its pretty weak if your not sliding and even then there are better alternatives. The extra slide speed is nice though
Wow i remember when mayhem 4 guns dropped and i farmed for most of them. The craders emp 5 took me a lpmg time to get bit i was really pleased with how it performed. Then mayhem 2.0 came out and most of the mayhem 4 weapons became obselite

After watching you I realize I’m absolute trash in the borderlands. I can barely hold my own on mayhem 3 and I’ve been playing FPS games for over a decade :s
There’s so many cool weapons I haven’t seen yet these videos are nice for that
I believe in you! It takes time to understand you're build and where the power lies.
weapon damage and enemy health both scale with mayhem, so make sure you use weapons that are at least mayhem 3 as well.
Best for guardian takedown with lower gravity anyway, also has to have killing/reload speed anoint, Too much reloading for anyone’s taste with this thing

The Ripper also has really unique play style. Doing Ripper/Stinger/ Fish Slap with Peregrine on Fl4k or Mantis Cannon A.S.S anoint & 5/5 Duct Tape Mod on Zane
Ripper is great in arms race
It's a reference to the Counter-strike beta, where the Mp5 got more precise in the air, and it wasn't uncommon to see people jumping out of corners and lasering people
Zane accuracy speed build is gonna be insane with this.

Another benefit to using this on Zane is he has a two skills the increase fire rate and gives an extra projectile meaning you can land more criticals in that short window from jumping to landing. So, at minimum 30% increased to rate of fire and 50% chance to shoot an extra shot and both of those can be roughly doubled with the right class mod, so in case you don't want to feel like Sonic but still want some good damage boosts. Also cool new outro.
I wouldn't mind watching SGZ on MW2.

Heheh I've been rectly testing it on my moze and it's with alot of fire rate and the super solder it shreds bosses and enemies but warning for your ammo XD
Oh it’s also a great gun to farm vault card xp in slaughtershaft on TVHM no mayhem. Kinda weird how that gives the most xp.

I could see this gun being nasty on zane as it gived you crit and speed witch translates directly to gun damage.

Idk if anyone has tried this but Moze and the unlimited frozen anarchy. I got one that on action skill end the next two mags will have 100% additional bonus radiation damage. With he ammo regeneration u can keep from reloading and keep staking the buff.
I use Moonfire the same way I use EM-P5 on my Antifreeze Zane... it's a satisfying playstyle.
What I'm think about now is if and how the bonuses might transfer to sitting in Iron Bears mounted turret. Are you "airbourne" in the seat? XD
I knew about the movement speed bonus but the airborne dealing more damage this is gunna be a skill I'm going to have to try with my driver com
