- Fort Lauderdale elected officials really congratulated themselves for their restoration efforts to clean up the tarpon river. So we went down there to see what all the fanfare was for.

I use to catch bait in the Tarpon River. I wouldn't dare throw my net in there now for fear of catching an illness that would kill me.
