Thank God that there are still those who hold up the banner of Christ as the world plummets into darkness! Thank you, Pastor John, for allowing God to use you all these years to be a ‘watchman on the wall of Zion!.
Thanks for your courage to speak the truth in such challenging times. Truth has been under attack setting the stage for the final events. Pilate asked Jesus, "What is truth?" God's end time people will be asked to defend the truth which will rejected by those in power in favor of their own religious and/or political agendas. Lord, help us.
Every Adventist NEEDS to hear this for sure!!! So many of my sisters and brothers are caught up in these political parties and have come to think and say what the worldly 'leaders' believe. 😢😢😢
Thank you pastor for speaking truth about how entangled we can become in politics if we allow the deceiver to distract us. I was very disappointed to hear other SDA pastors actually encouraging people to vote instead of reminding people to keep our eyes focused on Christ and out of politics. This is Satan's plan to stray us away from Jesus. I have seen in my own family big arguments and division over politics. Politics will not change prophecy and God's plan. The only way is to keep our eyes on Jesus.
"We cannot trade the message of Divinity for the rhetoric of humanity." Amen!

Very well said. Thankyou. We are in a time we should solely be focused on Christ and not on what our rewards are on this earth. This earth surely will pass away and he will come and we will not be ready and he will not know us. We have no salvation in any human or earthly system but only in Christ the Son of God. There our salvation is sure. Keep your minds stayed on Jesus for the time is near for him to take those who are settled in him and him only.

A beautiful wake up sermon for those who don't follow the word of God and believe there is plenty of time to get right with God and still do what they want to do and at the last minute expect to be saved. Who knows when the last minute will come for anyone? NOW IS THE TIME TO TURN TO AND FOLLOW GOD'S WORD IF WE INTEND TO SPEND ETERNITY WITH THE HEAVENLY HOSTS!

@@3abn can you please clear up a question for me so I can share with others correctly? Concerning the little horn in Daniel 7 points to the little horn as the Papacy. In Daniel 8:9 the little horn comes up from the four divisions or Greek horns. How should we interpret the little horn from chapter 8 as the Papacy when the text says it comes up from the 4 horns in kingdom of Greece? Please let me know how to approach this seemingly discrepancy? Thanks so much!

Thank you! I strongly feel like the world needs to hear this message. We need to hold strong that “we are walking in a marvelous light...” and we need to keep our heart, and thoughts, our focus on God. There are so many strong powerful enemies that work hard to deceive, it is a mistake to fall into and focus solely on the fleeting things of this world. Let God’s Word truly “be a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path.”
Our church needs to hear this message. We alienate half the people we are trying to witness to when we preach politics instead of the everlasting gospel. And our church is being divided. When did we start taking up evangelical Christian thoughts and spreading them on Facebook and thinking that we’re witnessing for Christ? When did we start trusting in the arm of man, or president, or political leaders? Why are many of God’s people aligning themselves with the thoughts and goals of Apostate Protestantism? Don’t we remember they join hands with the papacy? Their kingdom is of this world and that’s why they fight, but Jesus said His Kingdom is not of this world. We’ve been given a message and a mission - Matthew 28 and Revelation 14. Come out of Babylon (including Apostate Protestant politics) my people!

About a decade ago, I was asked to provide a sermon on a sabbath morning. During the sermon, I said something about “the church”. A lady in the congregation spoke up “Do you mean our church?”
Maybe I should have taken longer to explain my answer but my answer was “There is only one church. It isn’t our church. It is the Lord’s church.”
So here is some advice for every member of the Christian church:
1: Never give the impression that you don’t care about the problems that exist in the political sphere BUT devote at least twice as much time and at least twice as many of your other resources to encouraging people to trust the Lord as you devote to trying to solve problems in the political sphere.
2: Try to help people understand the danger of attempting to legislate morality but, with that one exception, avoid giving the impression that any political ideology or agenda is part of your understanding of the gospel of Jesus.
3: Instead of promoting a political ideology (or using language that is likely to be understood as promoting a political ideology), offer suggestions that represent alternatives to the extremes of political ideology AND, whenever possible, offer those suggestions in the form of questions about how to implement those suggestions. One example of such questions is to ask “What do you see as the advantages AND disadvantages of my suggestion?”

Many American Pastors who should know the Bible have wanted to line so much with politics and encourage there congregation to choice which person should be President no matter how violent and racist the person is. In Jamaica SDA pastor get fired for telling his congregation to vote for PNP party, but in USA is was separation between church and state.

Such a powerful and timely message. I felt like the church needed this message months ago but calling out the children before they have done the deed allows them that space to remain in denial now they can heed the word when it is blatant their actions are unlike Him!
