DANGWA flowers and foliage for decorating a carozza. 🙏💚🌸🌿

It's interesting to watch young florists doing Floral arrangement for a carozza. It's for the image of Nuestra Senora De La Porteria for a Marian procession in Kawit, Cavite, September 10, 2022 in celebration of the feast of the Virgin Mary.
The florists are Kiet Dylan Venus, Jerome Ordonez, Ernesto Udani, and Mixcs Militante. Also, Angela Padilla, Sarah Herrera, Luigi Miguel Raqueno, and Ralph Parcero assisted with preparing the carozza and the vestments.
Flowers used were pomelo pink (!) roses, "berries", white anthuriums, and white daisies. All bought from Dangwa, Manila's famous flower market. I've been longing to visit Dangwa!
The image of the La Porteria is owned by the Miranda Family of Pag-asa 3, my grandnephew Dan Carlo's maternal family.
Knowing these kids are not professionally trained is more amazing. They are volunteers and are active in church organizations. I hope we could have more of these youth. 🙏
For those wondering what a carozza is, it's a manually pulled float or platform where images of saints and the Virgin Mary are installed and then pulled during a religious procession. ☺️
