I applaud and admire you. You are a conscious young man and not like some who waste away their lives smoking weed, wearing name brand clothing, driving cars they can't afford, and living off the government on welfare and their family members. I find that a lot of Jamaicans abroad do not care about generational wealth, they only think about today and not the future. It is true that the Indians and Chinese work together and build wealth while so many Jamaicans curse their own in the most negative way. I hope that your channel will grow because I notice that the RUclipsrs who say the most vile and negative things about Jamaica are the ones that get the subscribers and Likes. Keep being positive and best wishes for 2024.

Well said young man. Growing up in a Caribbean community in UK in the 70s, I witnessed the Indian migration in to the UK, they used to live 6 family to one house. Everyone including white UKs used laugh at them. By the 80s those same people are considered the most prosperous, respected and most affluent of all emigrations in this country.

I am currently building in Jamaica and facing some challenges due to the attitude of the workmen, but I am praying and pushing forward. Jamaica is a beautiful place with so much potential. The biggest challenge in Jamaica is curtailing crime. I am praying for this to improve.

Some of the Jamaican children come to Canada and waste their lives away. They will get help from their parents for years and years and expect to live free forever. I know a 50 year old who is living with her two adult children in her parents home paying only $1200.00 per month for rent for 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms house in Toronto. This includes heat, air conditioning, hydro, cable, internet, washing machine, dryer, stove, fridge and parking. They do absolutely nothing for the parents and the rent is always paid late, sometimes for 3-4 months the rent is not paid. I feel so sorry for the elderly parents who are struggling because of their ungrateful family members.

I actually find that as a northern culture.... Jamaican parents will keep a kid but the north push them out from them see the tail end of 17...
I actually like the gated communities cause some ppl come there and wanna hang cloth from the window fi dry and paint the house so far off color and build out to the fenceline and it takes away from the look a the place...

It's absolutely true what you are saying 👏 it's the same here in the UK 🇬🇧 we Jamaican people bad mind when you doing well for yourself, Instead of working together like the chinese and indians. Same thing happen to me when i was vice chair at the Nottingham Carnival Club in England. I help boost the club getting heavy sponsors to go on the road and build costumes. Another west indian come in from nowhere and say he can do it better. The club no longer exists because he bamboozle everybody and take the sponsor money 😢

Let me answer a few questions for you:
    1. Jamaicans don’t have a culture of multi generations coming together to do things. It may look great when the Chinese and Indians do it, but it does have its own problems.
    2. Don’t worry about young people not wanting to go back to Jamaica. We are doing ok here, getting lots of immigrants who are filling the labour shortage. We will be fine.
    3. The point you are missing is that it shouldn’t take several generations of a family coming together to own a house. When I was in Canada, as long as you have one or 2 working people in the house you used to be able to buy 1,500 square foot house in the suburbs. That fact that is no longer possible tells you a lot about where things are going. The quality of life is declining rapidly and people don’t want to see it.
    4. The reason young people feel older people are stubborn is because things are changing so fast and older people can’t keep up. They think they know, but sometimes they don’t.
If I were you I wouldn’t worry too much about what others are doing, and focus on your life and what you have control over. Let them be.

It all depends on the child manners because 18 is adult they will need them own private space for them boyfriend and girlfriend, after 20 them a big people them must go swim or drown that is how them will respect life your Job is to give them the best education after that they can fly,

That’s the mentality we need if get out of. I don’t know where I would be if I had the same supports as my white counterparts. I make 3 times the amount that my white friend makes BUT the difference is she has support from her family. She was able to buy a house way sooner, compared to me that was only able to rent.

    • @horatiobarnes8608

@@tanialuv4920 in today world the best support a child should get from a parent is high quality education, when you don't give them high quality education they may stuck into your house for a mighty longtime.

8:47 I’m the exception cuz Babylon ain’t for me sorry. I don’t want to INVEST in a country that doesn’t even like me. Just a cog ⚙️ in the system that doesn’t tik for me. Meanwhile the capitalist get richer and the workers suffer. And in my case I didn’t CHOSE to come here.

Oh boy! Big lecture by a truck driver. 😂 Right? Understand? Ya know? Video producer and director? Speak better English if you want your channel to grow. Patois only works in JA. Remember, If Canada didn't allow you to work and live here you wouldn't be able to have a dream to begin with. Everyone can't do what you do and that's not the purpose of allowing you to grow here. It's funny that you denigrate our system here and the U.S and UK yet you benefit greatly by the system. Canada has opened up to more immigration so that Canada can build up and the money stays here..not so immigrants can take the wealth away! If you can't make your dreams work in Canada than your advice is only good for the weak who need to grow in JA yet reliant on that good ole Babylon Canadian $$$.. ya know?!? 🧐
