It's a rehash of the Dreamcast Controller which used hall effect sticks.....Sega knew the problem all that time ago via their Arcade machine knowledge. Spawn wave channel explains Sega's solution 20 years ago.
yes and the ssb melee community is playing with gamecube controllers modded with hall effect joysticks too, sony nintendo and microsoft do not want to lose all this money lol
oh and the gamecube controllers do not cost so much, less than 70-60 bucks if you manage it well, the assembling is easy, this could have been done on xbox and playstation controllers since years now..
I bought this one few days ago. It is good buy, but the only problem for me is you cannot use any other USB cable other than the cable that came with it or cable that match the plug of the cable in the box. You see the connector or the slot for USB from the controller has a distinctive opening before you reach the slot. So you need a cable that has the same plug shape. Anyway it is still good. I also wish we have this on PS5 because their controller sucks. I have 4 of those dual sense. 2 are already drifting, 1 is getting there and 1 brand new. I am planning to get those 2 have HE Analog stick installed once I get my pay this week.
you can get other usb c cables if the diameter of the plastic around the plug is smaller than the connector, and im fairly certain that if you contact gamesir about broken cables they send out free replacements.

Nacon Revolution 5 pro has Hall Effect Sticks and has 4 Back Buttons way better then Sony original Edge pro... Oh and i have the Sony Ps5 pro Controller and after some time one of the paddles start to loose so much it wiggles and you cant move or JUMP in your Game so yeah the Nacon Revolution 5 pro IS the way to Go because Hall effect and Back Buttons are good.
@@kslegnd6000have about 200 hours on fortnite with this controller and 98.9 exact on apex legends, got it 82 days ago from amazon and it still performs like new with no stick drift. I use linear with 6 deadzone on fort and No deadzone on apex legends.

Just ordered one! ^_^ My xbox pro controller got stick drift on the left one, after pressing it in a million times playing Apex Legends. It lasted almost 2 years though, and will make a fine backup controller or use for retro games.
The exact same thing has happened too me. apex legends for 2 years and left stick is drifting
Already commented this but I really recommend lowering the deadzone on the software app so you get smooth tracking from the start especially for apex I use 1 but 2 is also great no higher than 5

@@CalmFrog So far it's been really good! I'd say a 9/10. I am not a fan of the D pad, having been used to better ones, but I've seen far worse. And the handles are a tad small, but it's about the same as the new xbox ones. Can't beat this controller for the price, and it's allowed me to set the dead zone in all fps games I play to zero, which is quite incredible. I'd say buy it while it's in stock and good price!

This would be so much better if it had lockable triggers. I am using a PowerA controller (which is broken that is why I’m watching, to do research) and it is basically the same but it has trigger stoppers and no Hall effect stuff.

Just make the trigger deadline really low and then the trigger pull will register before a trigger stopper one would

I've had a stadia controller for about 2 years and constantly use it and I have no stick drift
tbh if they added the series S/X dpad this would be a 10/10 controller
why? dpad is for opening menus, its better this way.

So when I use the paddles, and I bind them to my controls in a game, are they their own, added buttons, or do they just replace the A and B button?
they are basically like having 2 buttons so if i bind my paddle to A button. The paddle basically changes into an A button so you can still click the regular A button but the paddle is always an option so it is basically like having 2 options for one button.
The controllers new but the technology been around for years got them fitted in to my elite series 2

only point of deadOne is to accommodate stick drift.

Got one a week ago and I'll never get any other remote until Microsoft releases the new official Xbox remote with hall effect sticks and triggers that's coming out alongside the new series x this year. For thumbsticks I use 1 initial deadzone with raw mode on. Idk why but setting the initial to 0 feels odd and hard to control recoil.
Can you remap any button ? And I’m not talking about the back paddles … like can you switch y to b or something ?

8bitdo ultimate bluetooth for sure. had one for 1 year and its OP. Although im using the DS edge now but they will be making Hall effect for those soon

I also have Elite but I also bought the controller to test and the controller feels good and is also recommended for some games but in my opinion not for fortnite because it is a disadvantage with the back buttons, they are not good for edits

another good idea that "eliminates stick drift" is called turning up your ingame deadzone....

Once you hit like above 25 percent nothing makes the game play able
Then it's hard to snipe and use long range weapons when enemies are moving slow. Fast moving targets are easier to track than slow moving ones when the deadzone is higher.

Whenever I press any of the 4 letter buttons (ABYX) the controller vibrates and doesn’t respond, UNLESS I press another button on the controller and then press those buttons then it responds. Anyone know why?

Still choose the game sir, you can overclock its pollibg rate to 1000 and you can potentially edit it to have no deadzone at all and it doesnt drift

The drift in Power A controllers is ridiculous. I've had 2 and they both drifted within a month, got so bad with my newer one, it causes my character to completely stop moving despite me pushing the stick forward. I just ordered the G7SE.

worth it even if you play claw. I play claw on the right side and it feels more comfortable to me. I use the paddle on the left to sprint

@@jordanburgess8904 The paddle on the back is switch mode for me now. There’s an app u can download by gamesir on xbox store and microsoft store if you’re on pc. There’s also an app you can download on their website. Thats where you change the settings and binds for the controller. Update it to the latest patch, then change the sticks to raw input w/ no deadzone. make sure you also calibrate it right (yt tutorials). I changed the triggers too. Hope all this helps
