    great video! whats that desk chair you were using? i have gaming pc setup in my camper van and that chair would be a great fit!

      Thank you! It's a Frontrunner chair. I've had two of these for 3ish years, great chairs, however both have bolts that have fallen out, yet they still work perfect!

    Hey Alex, question on the waterproofness of that tent, is it?

  • @mannyencinas187

    How does the tent hold up in wind / rain / snow ? I would use it in fall and winter but it would need to be weather proof

  • @Brevfba

    That tent looks awesome! Question, does it have a jack for a hot wood stove in the ceiling? I've seen a couple patches that looks like a hole that would look like it would be for a smoke stack exhaust but i'm not sure. Thank you for the video it's awesome!

    How warm would the diesel heater been able to keep the tent if it hadn't run out of fuel? Usually with big volume tents a diesel heater has some trouble keeping things warm but curious how a large insulated tent does with a diesel heater

      Great question friend. I have run this half throttle while in the 20's and it will keep the tent in the 60's. Which is plenty warm for me while camping.

    Hey Alex, that portable shower you are using, I was just was looking at that thing on their website, can you get a couple showers from one fill of that container?

    • @4wdTALK
      @4wdTALK  10 месяцев назад

      All depends on how long your showers are

    Just watched a video of yours on that heater. So will the smaller 2kw heat a tent like that? Or do you recommend the larger 4kw?

      I've camped in the same tent (smaller one) and I'm running a 5kw heater for it. At the lowest setting it keeps the tent very warm, sometimes too warm depending on ambient temps but I have had to unzip a window or two before.

  • @Tattoochick48
    @Tattoochick48 4 месяца назад +1

    I thought those tents didn't need to be heated?!

      Friend that is completely up to your comfort level and how cold you are camping in. Not to mention what sleeping gear you are using as well.

    do they have a smaller version? like one that will fit in a passenger car?

    • @overlandish
      @overlandish 10 месяцев назад

      Believe it or not the BIG one packs down to 4’11” and fits in a civic or in Alex’s case his Tesla model 3…BUT we do have a smaller one called a SOLO that packs down smaller and weighs half as much. Check it out!

    So what about when it rains & when its hot humid? Those widows will drain all the water INTO the tent so they’ll all have to be closed and maybe even those tiny roof vents too if its windy - then what? You’ll be in a sauna or is there something im missing???

    • @4wdTALK
      @4wdTALK  9 месяцев назад +2

      Hey Steve, there is a rain fly that goes over the roof and covers everything.
