Am on the hunt for a good all around tire to replace the stock tires on my 2021 Sportsman 850. These are lookin like strong candidates! Thanks for the vid
I been window humpin these tires hard to replace my stock maxxis tires on my 2018 foreman, lots of foreman guys are swearing by the mud lite II's, so pretty much sold on a set of 26's
@@derrickldesign 27 in the Honda foreman make up for the low gearing and you do not want to change rim size with the front of these machines or add axle extenders on the solid rear it will bite you.
Hey Anthony great review. I have an xmr 1000 with ITP Cryptids. Would you compare the Mud lite 2’s to this tire? Looking for a more all round tire. We do more trail riding then mud holes
Overall mud performance? I had Zillas before and found them not good at all in the mud but yes smooth. Looking to go to these as an all around tire without big weight and cost. Thanks
I would say there about the same as Zillas in Mud performance, Zillas always did a "good" job getting through most mud holes for me, I also have a set of Gorilla Axle Tires which will dig to China, but they will rattle the teeth out of your mouth and handle terrible on hard pack trails
Hey Frank, sorry for the delay. I have felt Zero power loss running these tires! Looking back, the zillas were to lite for my bike. when I smash the throttle the ML2's sink in a bite, whereas the zillas would spin to the rev limiter
Pretty well! no chunks our of the tire like my previous Zillas. Just really hard to get used to the "Very little driver feedback" there almost to smooth. I just have to retrain myself on every ride that the tires are there when I need them to be, like going up steep muddy grades (But they've never let me down!)
@@tunerlifestyle look up ITP Tires and Maxxis Zillas websites, and you'll find weight comparisons. I reviewed and compared 30's, smaller size Tires may differ.
Thanks for the vid. I have a 21 outlander 1000 max I'm getting ready to replace tires. I do a lot of road riding as well as trails but not a ton of mud but want something that I going to get me through if I decide. Just concerned about wear or if they are rougher riding on hard surfaces more than the terra cross?
Becuase of the center lugs being so close together, it makes these tire extreamly smooth on hard pack. too smooth In my opinion, very litte feed-back, however, they lastested the longest out of all the tires iv'e had. my only dislike was, very little feed back of which might be okay to some people. But, overall, Great all around tire! Snow, Mud, Hard Packed, Loose sand- just okay.
Man, I truly appreciate the feedback and opinions on these. I’ve not had much experience with any other tires except the terra cross. And they have been great. Just considered going up a size on this outlander.
@@Letsroll000 I had a set of Terra-Cross on my Honda Rincon many years ago, I loved them on trails, however back then Terra Cross biggest size was like 26 or 28?!? I can't remember. Lot of my freinds Ive ridden with "back then" had XTR's. Honestly my favorite ATV tire are the Maxxis Zillas. Zillas are light weight, great feed back, awesome all round tire.. BUT!!! they have problems keeping mud out of the rims. Trust me! I understand the mental anguish trying to find that perfect tire that checks all the boxes.
@@jameskauffman5669 James, I'm going to highly recommend Maxxis Zillas, great all around tire, does very well in all categories Mud,Snow,Rocks,Sand and are one of the lightest Atv Tires made, so the won't rob horsepower. Hope this helps, I personally know how frustrating it is when it comes to pick the perfect tire setup
I have these on my wife's bike, GREAT tire! I run Zillas on my bike also another great tire. Nice review.
I got the same exact rim and tire I’m loving it
Just convinced me, great review. Thanks
Interesting... great review, thanks for sharing.
thanx for the video and your input.

I love my zillas.
I just got a new bike and I'm looking at these.
Great no BS review!
great review, thanks
Excellent review!!
Damn...looks like a great tire.. i like the 30x9 size too.. would look great on my 1000S rzr
Yeah, they do have a great look to them
Had these once....I ride in the badlands on clay, and hard pack. these tires were like ice skates going up hill.
I ran 27 Zillas on my 6 seat UTV. Shook and rumbled it like crazy on hardpack. I think it is what caused my mule to burn down, from wire shaking...
How are these tires holding up? Wearing ok? Any complaints?
Got those on my foreman. Great tires and they look awesome. Let out some air pressure for sand riding.

Cryptids are in opinion, are more like Garlolia Axel tires that came with mine, You'll LOVE the Mud Lite 2's or the zillas for sure
Any noticeable power loss?

Anthony, how is the weight? Obviously they will be more than the Zilla’s, but do the ML2 seem heavy? I also have a 1000.

Would these be good for rick crawling and hard pack? I’ve got a maverick x3 that puts down 160 wheel horsepower
These hard "Good" all terrain, however if you're only riding hard pack & rock climbing, I would recommend something else
Is the mud lites better in the mud then zillas? Im between both tires
Yes, but only by a hair, I noticed zillas seem to stay on top, and the muds seems to dig in. Maybe because of the weight of the Muds?
How are these holding up after a year? Wearing well?

what made you choose the mud lite 2 over the mud lite XL?
Wanted more of this lug pattern, these things are super smooth
570 renegade. Mostly sandy creeks and light to moderate mud. I’m leaning more towards the mud lites. What you think?
I think you should go with Zillas, just because of the weight difference
@@ahurt22 that’s a first everyone was telling me mudlites because they are lighter

Are your front wheels the same size as the rear? Thanks
Although I've moved on with my beloved Can Am, I believe they were 9s in the front and 11 wide in the back

I really am liking these tires Jay, they've never had a puncture or allowed mud in the rims. Solid tire for sure

I did not, they were not that heavy for my bike
Someone tell me which one is better for the mud and snow? The ITP mudlites or the tyre guider?
Snow =Tyre Guider Mud= ITP

Are they decent on hard packed ?
For sure! Smoothest ATV made in my opinion, almost to smooth... if you're a person that likes lots tire feedback? These are not for you
Man, no good on hardpac !
These wobble like crazy on grizzly 700 when you go over 45 km/h , I found these not great at higher speed, kind of regret buying these...
Are the 30s true to size
Yes,
Let some air out and they will do better
What size engine do you have
1000cc
10 lbs way too much
