But it isn't about the computers. I noticed some of the winners have less than three co-writers, producers, and they like artists who can play instruments also. This is why Taylor Swift wins so much. She writes her own music, plays guitar and many other things. Beyoncé just has way too many cooks in the kitchen working on her meals.

"That's what I like" had 8 songwriters and won SOTY. And it seems like this only applies to Beyonce. It also gives the academy an excuse for their racism and bias. Let's say Beyonce wrote Lemonade all by herself, there's still the racial element and the fact that she did what she did at the Superbowl. I could see her winning later in her career. I feel like a lot of these award shows snub artists for decades, and then award them with a big Grammy/oscar win when they are much older. Sometimes the work they win for deserved it; other times it feels like a “sorry we didn’t give this earlier” award. On the another hand I could see it happening for the country album. I don’t think Jay and b speak without planning first. They knew she was releasing those singles and brought up the lack of AOTY for a reason. But some of us are only just going to be here for music and for us if we are honest she has been robbed of that award but I’m like if she doesn’t care neither do I. I think these old American institutions need to be burned down to the ground and built back up on truth and transparency. It makes sense when you consider thrme racial demographic of those who make up the recording academy. A few years ago, an insider and member of the academy revealed that after she cried foul about the shady things about the academy and they voted her out. Nor was she the first one.

The Kelis situation also doesn't hold any water because 1. She did not write Milkshake, it was literally supposed to go to Britney Spears, or Pharrell Fuckass Williams wanted to give it to Britney. That last point is what I consider to be the fairest reason. It would be cool to see Bey try to minimize her collaboration and push her pen. I fully believe Tiffany Red and what she said makes be think about what the splits are like with all the sample usage. Kelis, however, had a misunderstanding - on her own end. She thought Bey was sampling a different song that she wrote - not milkshake. She didn’t write milkshake and it was initially meant for Britney Spears. So Kelis was mad under false pretenses. I hated how much conjecture was around at that time lol.

Yea it’s not a credit issue it’s a publishing issue. I don’t know whose vocals Tiff was talking bout. And Bey can actually sing so I don’t think she pressed to give that credit - especially (as you brought up) since she gave Claudio that credit. Mariah is most certainly blackballed because of the situation with Tommy Mottola. I don’t think there was anything she could do to change that. Beyoncé said that when she performed “Daddy Lessons” at the CMAs and was so negatively received, it was the driving force behind her wanting to release a country album… although she acknowledges that it’s not a “country” album, it’s a “Beyoncé” album, and if you’ve listened to it, that’s true. It’s obviously country driven, but it has many other genres including pop and hip hop. Just the inclusion of the different genres into a cohesive album alone, I believe warrant her album of the year, but of course she’s not gonna get it. I don’t believe Jay Z ruined anything with his speech. At this point she’d already been snubbed twice, for albums that garnered cultural attention, an illuminating story if you listen from start to finish, complete visuals, different genres, and amazing transitions… if it ain’t happened yet, I doubt it will.

The minute i heard Tiffany Red, this video lost credibility. Why would anybody take the word of somebody that's NEVER work with Beyoncé? Being able to write your own songs has nothing to do with winning album of the year. Mariah Carey is one of the greatest songwriter of her generation, yet she got overlooked by the grammys. Meanwhile, her peers, like Whitney Houston and Celine Dion, who do not write their music, have both won album of the year. When come to album of the year and Beyoncé, it boils down to politics and jealousy. A lot of people in the industry have been pressed and bitter at Beyoncé's ongoing unprecedented success; some of the industry people smile in her face but secretly envy her and want so badly to humble. Beyoncé's saving grace has always been humility and generosity despite all the snakes around. At this point in her she doesn’t need the grammys, they need her. Her submit her work still, is for those collaborators to get awarded and the exposure. I didn’t “take her word”. Once again this video is all speculation. We live in a world where rumors can have an impact regardless if they are true or not. The rumors about Beyonce’s writing credits stem all the way back to her IAMSASHA and really do impact her brand (thats all im saying). Im not saying she doesn’t deserve the award because she hasn’t written enough. I know Beyonce is capable of writing her own songs. The rumors are part what’s blocking her from the AOTY but not the whole picture. In my opinion. Also, Mariah hasn’t won because of her marriage to Tommy (she was black listed). Whitney won AOTY because I feel like she was following a safe pop formula which alienated her black fanbase at the time. Politics above all else still rule the Grammys and I said that in the video.

I agree! A lot of the lyrics from Renaissance made me cringe. I don't know why she got so explicit with her music lately. Especially when she didn't have to do all of that with her earlier music. But it isn't about the computers. I noticed some of the winners have less than three co-writers, producers, and they like artists who can play instruments also. This is why Taylor Swift wins so much. "That's what I like" had 8 songwriters and won SOTY. And it seems like this only applies to Beyonce. It also gives the academy an excuse for their racism and bias. Let's say Beyonce wrote Lemonade all by herself, there's still the racial element and the fact that she did what she did at the Superbowl. Yea it’s not a credit issue it’s a publishing issue. I don’t know whose vocals Tiff was talking bout. And Bey can actually sing so I don’t think she pressed to give that credit - especially (as you brought up) since she gave Claudio that credit. Beyoncé said that when she performed “Daddy Lessons” at the CMAs and was so negatively received, it was the driving force behind her wanting to release a country album… although she acknowledges that it’s not a “country” album, it’s a “Beyoncé” album, and if you’ve listened to it, that’s true. It’s obviously country driven, but it has many other genres including pop and hip hop.
Just the inclusion of the different genres into a cohesive album alone, I believe warrant her album of the year, but of course she’s not gonna get it. I don’t believe Jay Z ruined anything with his speech. At this point she’d already been snubbed twice, for albums that garnered cultural attention, an illuminating story if you listen from start to finish, complete visuals, different genres, and amazing transitions… if it ain’t happened yet, I doubt it will.

When come to album of the year and Beyoncé, it boils down to politics and jealousy. Beyoncé's saving grace has always been humility and generosity despite all the snakes around. At this point in her she doesn’t need the grammys, they need her. But Beyoncé add her vision, songs , visuals, theme and you have the best album of any mainstream female artist of 2010's (at least according to Rolling Stones magazine). They are several behind the scenes on Tidal of how Beyoncé makes music. She had a vision about early dating with Jay and she freestyle Partition. She was recording Love on top with the producer and she was like "If you want I can go higher" even though it was already more than it was supposed to be . That is how you do music .

Im saying her albums have multiple writers on them (FACT) which is adds to the nuance of why she hasn’t won AOTY. please send me the link to the article that says she has won AOTY? No one said to her "Let's not promote your next album, don't send a heads up to your label and to producers and would it be funny to make visuals for all tracks?". It was Beyoncé craftsmanship

With that jay speech and where's she's at now as an artist, she's definitely not gonna win it. Texas hold'em is very mid and empty sounding. Renaissance is her worst album lyrically and production wise. I will never forget how i cringed and laughed at the You won't break my song🤮.Everything is love was the start of her music decline. I really liked and miss her old higher pitch and tone.I just don't see her current mature voice, unpassionate/ disingenuous style and tone still being very marketable to the younger crowd like an Adele who pretty much still has her og voice. Beyonce's been giving panderer and mid life crisis to me, this started very subtle around the Drunk in love,7/11 era but at least those were still bops

I’d say she won’t win ever. But it’s primarily because they feel she’s won too much and one thing I know about “those” people is that they love to humble a black person - especially a woman. But your reasons feel more like personal and biased dislike. Beyoncé , since, self-titled, has released the most critically-acclaimed work of her entire career. Her older stuff is empty, poppish filler with no real heart or meaning. That’s why critics never really cared for that stuff. But you did. Lol. That’s the cringe here.
I agree! A lot of the lyrics from Renaissance made me cringe. I don't know why she got so explicit with her music lately. Especially when she didn't have to do all of that with her earlier music. You would think she would stay away from that now since she has kids and they are going to be listening to it and repeating what she says.🤷🏽♀️
