I agree with Jillian 100%! This was a breath of fresh air, to see two adults behaving like adults. They discussed their differences, emphasized what they were going to do to correct them. And most importantly, they left the childish nasty behavior out of it.

This debate was a breath of fresh air and it’s refreshing to hear Jillian’s commentary on this channel which acknowledges the value and importance of the civility, decorum and professionalism that both candidates brought to the table throughout the debate.💛
One of the things that JD Vance did from the start that was noticed and appreciated was that he respected Kamala Harris enough to pronounce her name correctly; which sounds like a minor detail, but it’s actually a big deal. 👏✨💛

Just because Vance has rigorously spoken out against being fact checked (a first for any politician on either side of the aisle) other people do fact check.
So, for one example, during the debate he said, “I never supported a national ban” (in 2022 he said he “would like abortion to be illegal nationally” and backed Lindsey Graham’s proposal for a federal abortion ban after 15 weeks), and later, by making an utterly bizarre claim about Minnesota abortion law. “The Minnesota law that you signed into law, the statute that you signed into law,” Vance said to Walz, “it says that a doctor who presides over an abortion where the baby survives, the doctor is under no obligation to provide lifesaving care to a baby who survives a botched late-term abortion.”

@@UncleWally3 Wanting abortion to be illegal and politically supporting or promoting a national ban are two very different things. Politicians often times do not push through legislation that they would like to see because they know there would not be enough support. Also, you're wrong about that abortion thing. It used to be required in Minnesota to provide life saving care, but that was repealed. So neither of your examples are lies. The first one is a misunderstanding, and the second one is straight up fact.

While I believe a woman has the freedom of choice about what she does or does not do with her body, I’m personally not in favor of abortion, especially as an act of birth control. What I am in favor of is consistent messaging; to me, when a person says one thing to one audience and another thing to another audience, that’s deceptive.
