At the end the stem had grown up and the cap had completely deflated so that it was sitting flat on top. I'd share a pic here if I could. But I haven't been able to find another image or video of a morel in this stage. Wondering if you e seen anything like what I'm describing?

Is this Morchella importuna ?. I noticed that you get club of Morchella at one place, than proper distribution on the tray. While harvesting, you sacrifice small ones ,which goes to B grade category. Moreover, you spend lot of time in harvesting , and as a business man you have to reduce downtime, in order to maximize profits. How far you have been able to set the problem. As I can visualize you have problem in designing of automatic system.
