I wasn’t paying attention so I thought this was all one movie and that she was just casually engaging in multiple marriages and everyone was just being very supportive
Same but I kept thinking “wow, this movie must be, like, 90% proposals”
Same here! I was hella confused the whole video- but laughing my ass off at the ladies! Oh they’re good. But thanks, Alexis, for pointing that out. Whew!
@@claytonandres1194 yup! thank goodness I found these comments because I thought I was (as J. Elvis said) snapping a twig. Ok, I can continue my day now. :)
Similar situation only that i thought it was a super cut of guest stars on Thirty Something episodes
Yea, I played this in the background and just figured everyone had that 50 First Dates thing and just kept marrying each other
As Kevin Murphy once quietly pondered, WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!
That was my reaction when I first laid eyes on this...
To be fair this is a mix of three films so that kind of explains why the story looks all over the place 😅
Only topped by his agitated scream during Mitchell's interaction with the kid
I own all three of these, and watch them more than I care to admit. All three are riffing gold.
There’s help 🙏🏽
I've never even heard of these movies, but this Rifftrax highlights video genuinely makes me want to watch all 3.
So someone just spliced together Dallas and The Golden Girls and created a Lifetime After-school Special?
Don't forget Empty Nest for Kristy MacNicole.
@@zoeyrochellezhombie829 accidental pregnancy seems more like a Buddy from Family special episode.
i didn't realize this was multiple movies i thought rue was just a bigamist
Saaaaame. 😭
Capt. Spaulding: "What do you say, girls? What do you say? Are we all going to get married?"
Mrs. Whitehead: "All of us?"
Capt. Spaulding: "All of us!"
Mrs. Whitehead: "But, that's bigamy!"
Capt. Spaulding: "Yes, and it's big of me too."
- Groucho Marx, Margaret Irving - "Animal Crackers" (1930)
Honest assumption.
"Like all wedding cakes, this one is 85% frosting." You say that like it's a bad thing!
This movie makes me more uncomfortable than every Blanche-centric episode of "The Golden Girls" combined, and only half as uncomfortable as Bea Arthur's singing in the Star Wars Holiday Special.
Andrew… 💪🏻👊🏆
Bea Arthur singing was one of the rarer highlight of the special that said
"AARP after dark"
"A penis went rogue."
The one daughter has this perpetual look on her face like she's in the last 10 minutes of a slasher film
Can't wait for the eventual Father Of The Bride Of The Monster mashup!
They will create a new rice of pipples to rule over romantic comedy!
This series even recast the HOUSE, eventually. Bless.
i seriously thought this was like a Sliding Doors situation with Rue Mclanahan jumping though The Multiverse
Wait, so this was 3 movies? I was so confused as to why Blanche was hooking up with a different guy every other scene.
Yep three different films haha
"Don't peak.."
Oh, honey, this guy peaked years ago."
X'D
Rue actually meant 'Peek'.
Whooosh!
Wait, how many times does Patrick Duffy propose, how many times does she say yes and how many tiles does she say they can't? Was it all a dream ?
If you see Patrick Duffy in the shower, the answer is “yes”.
The simultaneous "OH SHUT UP" after the speech about empathy is soooo funny
It's easy for those guys to propose to Rue.
They never saw "Hollywood After Dark" =/
No offense to anyone who actually enjoyed these movies, but I'm still waiting for the inevitable Halloween black comedy spoof of these movies, "Father of the Bride of Frankenstein"
Shows you what a 500.00 production budget can do for a movie and that's 1990s money.....and that strawberry scene is more haunting nightmare fuel than that scene in The Shining where the hot ghost lady turns into a corpse
Man... Every guy wanted to Rue the day!
I have to say, Rue was a GILF before the term was even coined!
i mean..she was a very charming lady and very fit for her age!
@@5roundsrapid263 That is gross, lol.
"I'll go get her." So simple, so effective.
Bridget and Mary Jo never let me down, and the riffs in this clip are hilarious, but these movies look like a serious dose of DEEP HURTING.
"Mmmm uh-uh, never trust someone who keeps their eyes open [during a kiss]. Bad, bad, wrong, bad."
"As the smell of animal offal and the braying of mating hippos wafts through the park" 🤣🤣🤣. That's why I love rifftrax/mst3k
The "cool guy" looks like Adam Scott doing a remake of this movie for The Greatest Event in Television History.
i noticed the same thing
I shouldn't have watched this right after eating a large meal.
The countdown makes me feel uneasy.
I was expecting a talking cat to appear at any moment.
Am I the only one who'd like to see Mary Jo & Bridget at least occasionally work with the other guys instead of always just being their own separate thing?
Bridget and Mike did riff "Charade" together :) Both the actual movie, and their mockery of it, are pretty good.
Agreed. We'd have fewer overall riffs though. There was one that had all five but I can't remember it off the top of my head.
@@pal5683 yeah, all 5 would be a bit much. I meant more instead of it always being Kevin, Mike & Bill they could do Kevin, Mike & Mary Jo or have one of the guys join them to switch it up. I remember Bridget & Mike did 1 together but I think that was literally the only time.
Mike and Mary Jo's riff of Glitter is so epic that we actually paid money to own the movie.
Mike, Kevin, & Bridget riffed the most dangerous game back in 2020. I was kind of shocked that they ventured from the norm I ended up watching it on prime when it was included on there. There’s also one by just Bill & Mary Jo. I don’t remember which movie they did but I do remember it being hilarious.
How many times was Rue McClanahan's character married? Is there a number that even goes that high?
9:25 I think that's the first time I've ever seen someone's wardrobe actually match the couch
"You're fired."
"But we're going to finish, right?"
I swear, Kristy McNichol USED to be able to impersonate a heterosexual...
Do not watch this and drink coffee. Rookie mistake. Lol love you guys but you owe me a new laptop.
Who likes chocolate-covered prunes and Metamucil?
You had me at; AARP After Dark...
Pregnant and FINE?! The human body is AMAZING
I don’t know how to feel about this… she will always be Blanche in my heart and I can’t see this happening without feeling inappropriate!!
2:51 Down South, the groom gets his own cake with whatever he wants. It started in Victorian England.
6:01 🎶 thank you for being my bride…
I was overwhelmed with confusion about how many of these young guys she's married to, but now all I can think about is how tiny that one guy's ears are.
Do a best of the Teen Agers collection (also, do another Teen Agers movie)
Grandma candy
thank you for doingbthese! i buy most bridget and mary jos but these films looked bleakly bad rather than insane so i haven't got them!
Always love when the ladies riff soap opera type made for tv films. They're so saccharine and made for women who can't handle even the idea of "s-e-x" in films that they're easy super fun to tear apart.
There were tons of all genres made by the major networks that starred whatever popular stars currently on their shows. I have an ironic fondness for them, obviously. But unfortunately, we only have Hallmark channel spinster films now
12:52 is that John Wesley Shipp?
Yes
Hahaha oh gods this is amazing. 😂
6:35 : Lol!
If she's 53, I haven't been born yet
I'd have believed 63. Dubious, but believable. 53 feels like they are just effing with the audience. Like, how far can we make this ancient woman's age feel believable?
Who ARE all these people?! It's a bridal multiple choice, and they seem to have ✅ed All of the Above!
(So glad Bridget and Mary Jo were enlisted to riff this 'supercut'...!)
I do love this trilogy! Very much in my top set of riffs
Joel McKinnon Miller at 14:32!
4:00 Ted Cruz cameo
11:25 and Steve Jobs cameo
Hilarious riffing!
11:38 HAHAHAHAHAHA
Who is that @1:18, she seems very familiar
Is the movie jumping around or are the clips? This is the most confusing movie I've ever seen clips of. 😅
This was a trilogy, so there are scenes from all the movies.
So... this is the Bride series.
Well, as long as they're not seed pod throw pillows.
Mary Jo keeping it real.
I hope this comes to Twitch and replaces the James Nguyen films.
What's the point of this trilogy? I don't get it.
neither do i
They were 1990's Lifetime TV movies. So the point was to entertain bored housewives and SAHMs. 😂
Christy McNicols mustache is out of control!
Sometimes that happens.
Wait... "Baby of the Bride..." This didn't ACTUALLY have a guy marrying his mom, right?
No lol
I'm sorry but that one couple...I think my wife was supporting them as a PSW.
You can tell it's low budget cause they couldn't afford mustache wax for the llllllllladies.
BLANCH!!!!!!!!!
Wow… This movie is so damn bad 🤯 Rifftrax should win an Oscar for sitting through stuff like this 😂
id love to know how rue got pregnant
I bet you would.
Well God came to her in the night in the form of an angel and said "Be not afraid." The rest is history
Aw its a girl one. ☹️
Wait, she's meant to be 53 in one of those movies?! Omg she looks awful, I know that's mean but holy crap
... when movies are so cringey and nauseating that no amount of riffing can make them stomachable ...
Sorry. It just...isn't funny.
I always wanted a room with a Rue ❤️
Oh gosh...@1:03... I am sick...perfect mood killer for Valentine's
This reminds me of two things. Pearl Forrester was the worst MST3K character and secondly women are NEVER funny.
Just because you aren't funny, "Bianca", doesn't mean women aren't
