I've ran sand trucks in West Texas, I'll probably be back out there soon. Some things you said are absolute truth. 1. The roads are rough. Once you get off the main highway the roads will beat the wheels off your vehicle. 2. There's nothing to do. Absolutely nothing! Work and make money with no way to spend it. 3. It's hot. It's so hot your eggs might fry before you get them in the skillet. Don't touch anything outside without wearing gloves!
Hello good morning I wanted to ask you what part of Texas are you located at I'm looking to get into the oil field not as a gate guard but just looking for any labor work in the oil field just need some info on where to go and get things started if you do have any info on that if you could please let me know I would greatly appreciate it and thanks have a great day

Life is short. It depends do you want to travel most of the yr? If that's the case I would say yes. It's an easy job that you can make alot of money doing. We have been doing it off and on since 2019.

I did gate guard and piloting sand boxes, transports and bottles on and off pads. Never again. It's a headache.
