Have you tried moving the pH solution above the pump so its not fighting against gravity when the pump is running? It might help with the speed of the pump and keeping more accurate dosing. Nice setup!
I put the BlueLab Wi-Fi Ph controller on one setup and it is the bee's knees but so expensive. And for the record, I have to set it a little higher to compensate, just like your Milwaukee does. Easy to compensate for. So I just ordered this same Milwaukee setup for another small setup to compare. These devices are a MUST. Most new guys don't realize that their Ph drifts. I know I didn't and since corrected, it has been a game changer.
Update. My Milwaukee PH Controller can maintain the PH in my Autopot reservoirs just as well as my Blue Lab. I like Blue Labs web access and control over the app but if I were to add another setup, I would purchase the milwaukee over the Blue Lab controller. Better bang for bucks.
Thanks for the review.I see this was a year ago is there any updates? I'm thinking of getting one of these so the questions is would you get the same unit after using it for a year should give you a pretty good idea how reliable it is
I water it down a good amount, I have been running about 1 part ph 3-4 parts ro water. But it takes some dialing in for different size control buckets and/or water capacity
@@JM-gj2zg it works well just have to get the dilution rate right I run 1 part ph down to 6 parts water, definitely take some time to get it dialed in so it doesn’t overdose which can become an issue. I place the probe closer to the line dispensing the ph down to help prevent that issue tho.
I’m having issues with mine set at above 6.5 since my water is hard where I live and this pump has over dosed my ph all the way down twice now to 2 ph and I have no idea why it’s doing it I even put the ph probe right next to the ph down tube so it picks it up faster and keeps it from over dosing at least that was my theory but that didn’t seem to work
Be sure to dilute the ph down I use about 8:1 ration, also I’m unsure what volume of water you’re using but it could be this Doser is too much for the small amount of water
Noticed you mentioned needing a budget light that smacks, look into medigrow lights they got good coverage for good price, other than that environmental controllers will help u stabilize you’re environment and reduce plant stress 🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻appreciate the sub
I use fish fert for ph down , works awesome man , keeps the microbisl life in soil happy, my fish fert is very acidic brings my 6.5ph water down to 4.3-4.5 at less than recommended ratio so it works as a ph down and dosnt take much to lower the ph , takes way less than the recommended amount to feed with so no worries about raising ec to much .
My ph usually comes out perfect with all my nutes since i use RO , it comes out at 6.5 , after cal Mag is added it stays at 6.5 lol , then after that i add fox farm grow big, brings it to 6.3 , works put perfect so i could use these pumps to fertigate without worrying about the ph , have you tried feeding with these pumps , i will be in the future haha , but may use the jebaio peristaltic pump probably go with the 4 unit maybe the 6 unit .
And ill be using a wavemaker in my reservoir, produces less heat and dosnt raise the ph like airstones do . If i use airstones id use a unit like this then , we will see more than likly ill make use of peristaltic pumps for fertigation. Haha
Good job on video.
Straightfoward and to the point.

Good idea I’ll have to try it out, thanks ✌️

Sweet review. I use the bluelab
You know you can just dilute the ph down enough that it treats the water slowly

I would absolutely buy it again, keep the probe clean and calibrate once in a while, it will eliminate ph swings ending with big gains
How do you move the water constantly? Is it a pump or something I feel like sitting water isn’t good I need help
About how far do you have the solution tube away from the probe?
Thanks for the video! Your PH balancer, is that watered down or full concentrate?

Where did you get the little relay thing ? That pumps the solution out ?
The controller comes with the pump
@@ghostgrowz9750 I just found it online. Thank you 🙏.
@@ghostgrowz9750 how are you liking yours so far ? I just got into hydro and I need one.

informative. I just revealed my grow room on my channel, not much equipment yet any suggestions? (subbed)

have you checked how accurate the meter is with another ph meter?
I test it against my bluelab ph meter, it’s right on and the bluelab seems to need to be recalibrated more often than the Milwaukee
i thought a cat was meowing at first....
Have the same kit and his pump is definitely broken l! Mine is not noticeable at all .bro talk to Milwaukee get a new pump this is not normal
I am so glad you said this. I have been dealing with the same noise and wondered if that was normal!

So how did the pump end up working for yea tho was it shitty or what , you used it for a while now do yea still have it is it a headache ?
It works great I keep it set about to stop at 5.9 to not overdose and manually lower it to 5.8, using a diluted ph down is key
I may consider this cheap option , I can get this in canada for 125$
Send me one then bro
@@Bman420v More than likely he's only seeing the pH meter.

Just color the light on the meter with a dark purple pr blsack permanent marker
