Great win for Nebraska. We played a good team and we needed this coming into the conference. Let’s keep it up and win another. One game at a time! GBR! 3-0!!

Will Rhule be here in 2 years? Just look at his Track Record -- He leaves after 3 or 4 years, because He Turns Programs Around, then gets offered A Lot Of Cash, and Takes The Money & Runs. I don’t see him here long.

Love how they played freshmen and some of the younger payers early. He has so much confidence in these younger guys and that is promising. Can't wait for this team to reload instead of rebuild. Nothing against this team but they are going to be really good in a year or 2. Go Big Red! Husker for life...

@wildmercuryfilms Don't think you can compare temple and Baylor job the same as Nebraska. He knows and understands the history as a blue blood. His wife opened a business, his son goes to the university and he never said to those other programs he was staying. He said that about this job. Just because he did what he did with those other teams doesn't mean he will do that here. No offense to those other universities but they are not even close to the level of being the head coach at Nebraska.

Thought a FG attempt was a better strategy than the going for it on 4th and 1, would have forced their hand on play calling much sooner. Overall a Great game, zero punts is a long lost stat! GBR

I think you're overdramatized it in a little bit they gave up three points buddy. I mean I was getting mad. They couldn't stop about those third downs too, but in the end, this team only scored three points. They had a golf game because they were so pumped up last week about Colorado, but they still won by 31. This is what Nebraska did their day they're off games. They won by 30. I love it that we're getting back to that when we win by 30 we're getting criticized how great Nebraska used to be we need to get back tothat.

The offense has a problem that they have to fix going into the Big Ten conference play they play very very good in the first half I mean the energy is there but they losing in the second half that's a major problem because if they get to the point to where they get in front of a team and winning at halftime and have that non-energy play the second half teams in the Big Ten to come back and beat you and win the game in games to wear teams are playing you close you playing back and forth if they have that lack of effort and energy in the second half they'll lose the game and the defense even though they won the game and only allowed in the score three points they have some stuff they have to tighten on and fix going into the Big Ten because they was exposed by this team this week the defense was exposed on some things that needs to be tightened up

I was feeling good about first half.
I do wish we’d come out and score early in the second half. As a team we played poor third quarters for last many years. Didn’t matter what coach.
It would be cool to see us come out with better execution in the third.
Over all 3-0 is great. GBR

Yeah they have some major issues to fix. Coach Rhule knows this, that why he looks pissed right now. However that is a good sign. Coach Rhule isn't content with "Good", not he wants Perfection, he wants to compete for Championships and there is no reason Nebraska shouldn't be in the top 5. They just need to push on the gas in the second half

Well, do you remember when Frost was up by 21 at half then called an "aggressive" 2nd half.... and we lost.
We've been up so much at half, that changes the way you cslll the game. Once you get 2-3 possessions ahead you all the game tp make the other team score.. you don't call deep passing plays and stupid slow developing run plays, you run and a wear down the defense.
It's good we're getting back to winning by 31 and ppl still criticize the game.... because your correct, we should be putting up 50 pts against these lesser talented schools. But if we loose Raiola were ack to 4 turnovers a game and it's gonna be tuff. If you pay close attention, coack Rhule calls the 2nd half to protect his quarterback. Smart.
Frost put the whole offense on the QB- we all saw how that looked

Rhule is still mentally a step behind where he needs to be. When you are up multiple scores against an FBS opponent with ten minutes left in the fourth quarter and the next game is on a short week against a physical B1G opponent there is absolutely no reason to:
    - have Raiola run the ball and risk injury
    - leave the offensive starters in (put the backups in to improve team morale and avoid risk of injury to starters)
    - try to block a punt and get a penalty which puts the defense back on the field

@@wildmercuryfilms No doubt Rhule has a track record of job hopping; the longest he has stayed at a program is four years at Temple. Comes down to what he [Rhule] wants to accomplish. Does he want to stay at NU until he wins a National Championship? Does he want to return to the NFL? I believe Rhule does like it at Nebraska and won't leave for another college program but he may think he has unfinished business in the NFL (especially considering Carolina's front-office was overly involved in coaching aspects) and want to prove himself at the highest level.
