Found you this morning! Enjoyed listening. I will catch up and watch your other podcasts today. We had a good old fashioned snow storm this weekend. Now it is -1* outside. It is warming up! I live in Nebraska, USA. The center of the United States. I have been knitting for about 50 years. But I still learn new things. I used to listen to Elizabeth Zimmerman. And now there are so many knitting videos. I have knit/crocheted just about every/anything. I knit our grandson and his new wife the Tree of Life Afghan for their wedding a few years ago and just recently knit their new baby a tree for life baby blanket. I am knitting the Aileas sweater by Isabel Kraemer right now, a pair of socks, and the 1898 stocking cap for hubby. (He only has 3 or 4 others already) need to knit a cowl to match the cap. I have a few other WIP’s also. I am ready for spring though. Ice, snow and sub-zero weather is not my favorite season.
Greetings from Colorado, USA ❤ Your first podcast was fantastic. I am a lover of Lettlopi and currently knitting a hat with it. Crazy for socks and hope to cast on a jumper with Lettlopi soon. So glad you are here, Valerie
Thank you so much 😊 I’m going to have a giveaway soon with álafosslopi but maybe I can add some léttlopi to it as well 😉 I’m glad you enjoy the podcast.
The fingerless mitts are really lovely. The color is so vibrant! Another podcast you might enjoy is Tamara's knittedmess here on RUclips. She lives in Kiev, Ukraine and just started podcasting a few months ago. She's only been knitting a year or so but is already tackling cabled sweaters, socks, and other more advanced techniques and her projects are lovely. She posts irregularly because they don't have reliable power there now due to the war, but her posts are worth waiting for. I also love Inga's knittingtraditions podcast, and will check out the others you mentioned.
I enjoyed ur Podcast, all ready watching the 2nd one. Podcast I watch is, The Grocery Girls, The Cozy Cottage Crochet, Driftless Knitting, The Quirky Monday Crafts Cast, The Cozy Up Knits, I have lots that I watch. But here are some of them.

Congratulations on your first podcast!!! Great job!! I visited Iceland for the first time this past November and just loved it of course. I actually saw #3 first and loved when the dogs and family were in the background and your little side comments that give us a look into life in Iceland for a knitter. My current project is just finishing up a little Irish sweater for my great niece and I've also started a colorwork sweater. I just finished a pullover out of Plotulopi. I had very limited time to visit yarn shops on my trip but I did get to go to the big handknit shop in Reykjavik and bought a big bag of Plotulopi. It's wonderful! And I bought a small bag of raw wool in a local market that I'm saving for something special. Keep going with the podcasts, you are doing a great job! BTW I'm from a small rural area of Illinois about 2 hours outside of Chicago, close to Iowa and Wisconsin.

Hello Birgitta! What lovely things you've said about my podcast! Thank you so much for your kind words and I'm so excited and happy to have connected with you here. I wish there were more podcasts coming out of Iceland to be honest. I'm a fan of all things Icelandic and wool in the biggest way! You have so many beautiful knits and you're inspiring me to cast on some red knits this year. Btw, I also put markers with wool just like you showed on your lopapeysa sleeve! I think my friend Maja Siska was right when she said I was most likely Icelandic in another life 😄🙏🏾 thank you so much and I very much look forward to seeing your next pod! ❤️
Hello from Victoria Australia. Love your projects and your Ingrid will look amazing! I really admire you reusing the yarn if you don’t like the finished item

Hello from Finland, Kainuu region! Thanks for the episode, I just found your podcast and hit the subscribe button straight away! 😄 I am the same: I almost never knit things that's hot atm but few years later I find those models "everybody knitted back then", get inspired and be like Oh! That's a nice model, I definitely should knit one! 😂 Yep, maybe I am a bit slow. But there is a possibilty to be on the top of the second wave. I count on that. Aaand off to the next episode I go, see you there! 👉👉😊

Thank you for the podcast! I really enjoyed it so much. You have such a calm, soothing voice…the perfect background for knitting along. I’m not into jumping on the latest knitting trends either. Not sure why…😂
I’ve just found your podcast and enjoyed it very much. You were recommended by Cia on Ciaspod Podcast, if you haven’t watched her, give her a try as she’s very warm and creative. She lives in Sweden. She knits and spins and uses a lot of natural fibers. Another podcast you may enjoy is Selma of Big Little Knits. She’s from Canada and is wonderful to spend time with. I just subscribed and am looking forward to watching all of your episodes. Thank you so much!!
Hello and welcome 😊 I’m so glad you are enjoying the podcast. I watch Cia and have done so for some time. How exciting that she has recommended my podcast ❤️ I will take a look at Selma, thank you.
Hi Birgitta, I really enjoyed your podcast, and well done to you for coming out of your comfort zone, I love knitting but am a total beginner and am amazed at what you have created, I loved your red accessories, and I think you will enjoy A Lovely Yarn podcast and greeting from Scotland.
Scotland! I’ve always wanted to visit. That’s very kind of you to say ❤️ How exciting that you have started to knit! Thanks for the podcast recommendation, I will check it out 😊
Just found your podcast for the first time. I love how you present and what you are knitting. I am from Scotland, but living in Vanuatu at the moment. I'm not a monogamous knitter. I have a hat, a cardigan, a child sock and an adult sock on the needles at the moment. I watch a lot of podcasts! Some of my favourites are "fruity knitting", "Heather and hops", "earth tones girl" , "crazy sock lady podcast" and "joji knits". Tha ks for sharing your favourites, some of whom I had heard of and some of whom were knew to me. Happy knitting!
Vanuatu! ❤️ I have watched all of the podcasts you mentioned and I’m glad you have a few new ones to check out. I am usually not a monogamous knitter either so the last few months have been a different kind of knitting experience for me 😉 Your knitting project list sounds like my current situation at the moment 😊 Thank you for your comment ❤️
Hello Birgitta! I found your episode 2 today and now going back to episode 1. I enjoyed you sharing your knitting life with your viewers. You asked to share podcasts. I love Fruity Knitting and regularly watch Arnie and Carlos. They make me chuckle. I also pop into many others. I have been an avid knitter for many years, especially stranded knitting. Knitting competes with my quilting passion also.
Arnie and Carlos are great! My mom is like you in that knitting and quilting are her main hobbies. She has been teaching me how to quilt but it’s something I do a few times a year. I would love to get more consistent with it 😊 Thank you for your comment, I would love to know where you are watching from?
Your first podcast was amazing and I can't wait to watch more! You forgot to mention the shawl you made me for Christmas 🥰 Also, for someone doing their first video, you did such a good job and the editing was awesome! Looking forward to the next one!
I love how nicely your fingerless mitts fit you and I love your podcast. You have such a lovely gentle, calm voice which makes listening very enjoyable!

I just wanted to say, I think you might enjoy The Gentle Knitter podcast. She is in eastern Ontario, Canada, and posts infrequently, but there are 43 episodes at this point. Also, The Woolly Thistle, which is all about woolly wools. Thanks for sharing your favorite podcasts.
So glad you are here and are enjoying the podcast 😊 I adore Nicole from The Gentle Knitter and miss her podcast. I don’t believe she has put one out for over a year. The Wooly Thistle is new to me, thanks for sharing.
