Damn! I wish, this was used in Bubsy 3D's title card instead of that unfunny joke Accoldae actually used (of course, it wouldn't save that infamous game anyway but still). I checked the artist and... I was surprised. 😮 Positively of course. 😀 They sure is a multitalented arist. ☺
Honestly, kinda sorry for Bubsy. 🙁 When I met him for the first time in his very first game (actually, its PC remaster from 1996), I found him quite cute. Only after longer time I realized how big mess his franchise is. Not even to mention his TV series has been cancelled already after pilot.
Please don’t put bubsy in it and wish you change remove it from the list
I remember as a middle schooler stumbling upon your videos and laughing as well as agreeing with your criticisms of SAO, Asterik War, and video games. Now I am an adult with only one year left until I finish university. Great to see your channel still posting hilarious content criticizing bad to downright atrocious entertainment.
Hey, SAO is great fun! I love the animation, the music, and the characters are just enjoyable! :D
And I say that as someone who has been watching anime for 15 years, goes to 18 anime conventions a year, has a Japanstudies degree from university, and completed over 400 anime series. I have seen everything from cowboy bebop and legend of the galactic heroes and outlaw star to inuyasha and full metal alchemist to k-on and lucky star and Haruhi. And my fav genre is BL and currently also Danmei, I LOOOOVEE TGCF.
I mean to say: I have watched plenty of anime and other weeb stuff. And I have a pretty decent collection of beloved BL manga and danmei novels in my cabinet. I am not a casual xD. But SAO is just good fun, so I still really like it! :D And it's always fun to see cool cosplayers of it, especially now they aren't the majority anymore. :D Seeing a cool Sinon with a well made sniper rifle or a cute fem! Kirito or a cool Asuna or Leafa with cool wings at a con is fun :D

I died laughing the first time I saw that.
I'd also argue that this game is even worse than The Quiet Man, as it:
- is a sequel to a game that was mediocre
- is bad by design
- is so bad that someone was actually willing to MOVE countries
- isn't unfinished (Big Rigs/Redfall/etc)
- isn't a tech demo
- was made in a fashion that had no morale whatsoever
- can't even be laughed at like RtH:R
That "Jesus GOD!" brings back memories. Hearing that Rest in Piss after so many years of this series being done was so satisfying. Glad you're back, DX.

Also, here's a side note for DX: this was a great video and it gave me a very interesting idea of what this channel would be like if you never stopped the "Games I F*cking Hate" series, but your evolution as a content creator continued exactly the way it did in the years since your content shifted after the release of "The Worst Steam Library Ever". Also, I have a question, just out of curiosity: since you recognized "Bubsy 3D"'s positives in this video, does this mean that it is no longer THE absolute worst game you've ever played? If so, which one is it now?

That Rest in Piss is such a throwback. The minute you mentioned a different Rebellion game, I knew you were going to say ShellShock 2.
They seriously thought that Cheetahmen was going to be the hottest thing since the Ninja Turtles? A fight between them would be pretty cool though...
and including a cash prize competition? The ambition was crumbing at every step.

This video was quite a treat, not just because of how horrible these games are, but also because of how much it reminds you that no matter how much someone tells you some game is the worst they ever played because it wasn't for them, there's always going to be the brown standard of truly awful games, and anyone who feels they played something bad, it will always look like a masterpiece next to legit stinkers like what you featured today.

The title of this one has similar vibes to the original name for your series reviewing games you hated lol. And it's hard to believe how different your videos are now compared to how they used to be. Less angry, better audio, and you're a bit more critical than just angry. Either way, great video as always, DX!

Much like the other guy who said pretty much the same thing I found your channel in middle school and DIED at your game reviews and anime reviews, now in august I will be a freshman in college and im still watching your videos man. Glad to see the growth of your channel
High school was a terrible time for me. But even with 2014 cave audio, I always looked forward to your content. Loud, curse ridden reviews of random garbage that was unknown or infamous always gave me a laugh.
Still to this day, I find myself watching the classic DX content just for a trip down memory lane.
It’s crazy to see how long I’ve been watching your content since 2013. The improvements and dedication you’ve made astonishes me, and I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us from here on out!
P.S. It’s terrifying to see that not only you saw positives in Bubsy 3D, but there’s a much worse game to take its place. I forgot about Shellshock 2, thinking it was a figment of my imagination; I truly wish it was. A shame that it does have an interesting concept, yet was poorly executed in every aspect.

ShellShock 2: Blood Trails has a weird subtext, cause while the game is shit, its almost poetic, cause the subtitle Blood Trails reminds me of the blood skid marks in my shorts.

In the spring of 2015, I was first introduced to you with my interest in “bad video game reviewers” at the time thanks to the AVGN, and the first video I watched from you was your video on the Rambo game from 2014, and had been hooked on ever since on your content, I remember whenever you uploaded a video on a “bad game” I was excited every time and hyped up for your summer of DX events. The first video of yours I saw was the original upload of the top 20 worst games ever. That video gave me the most laughs I’ve ever had at a youtube video to date. This is a real throwback video. I remember watching the "Top 20 Worst Games of all Time" video on the Nintendo 3ds, while on 1.25x speed. I thought it was funny, and showed it to my sister. She also liked it. I've shown it to all my friends at this point, and we all think it's funny. Pretty cool to see DX revisit some of those games from those old videos. GL on anything else you make DX, hopefully I'll be here to see it lel.

4:52 actually the reason it was reused is because Cheetamen was shoehorned in Action 52. Originally the 52 game was called “action game master” and was supposed to have stuff relating to every game on the cartridge. The guy who play was originally the guy who gets sucked into the tv (which ngl makes more sense.). Since Vince Perri was convinced he had a massive money maker on his hands he figured he figured he could have a massive character and/or franchise on his hand. He later forced the developers to include Cheetamen. Since this was late in development, and the developers didn’t care about the cheetamen nor think of any ideas with them, they just replaced action game master with Cheetamen adding the Cheetamen and their villains.
Remembered watching your top 20 worst games when I was searching for Top 10 Worst videos on youtube several years ago. Then binged through most of your videos up til 2017. Later on I have watched the pyschotoxic video which was one of my personal favorite documentaries on youtube, as well as few other videos. Ultimately now circling back to this, I have one question for you.
Do you mind briefly telling me your Top 20 or 10 worst games now? Considering your views on these games have changed as well as a bunch of new crappy games after that video was made.

I swear to god I've heard that 'low trumpet' sound effect at 28:48 thousands of times before in other media, but can't recall any specific examples. Is it like some stock sound effect or like the musical version of the wilhelm scream?
