There is a little fiber left in the juice, if you do not use the added sieve. I think this is enough personally.. but it comes down to personal preference. You can add as much or as little fiber back in from the pulp catch container as you would like!
A food processor is a food processor, and it can do more things that this juicer can do. That being said, the juicer can do some functions similiar to a food processor.
John, thank you so much for making this video. This answers a lot of my questions about the 8006. It will really help me in my quest to find another juicer to use in conjunction with my L'Quip mini. Once I make that decision my business is yours. Thanks again.
In general, the best juicer for nut butter is the champion, as it tends to grind and heat the nuts up at the same time, which allows it to stick together better.
You've completely sold me! I've been watching all your extremely helpful videos trying to decided which was the best juicer to upgrade to from my current one and I think im 100% for the omega 8006 after this. I can't thank you enough for doing all the work you do comparing all the juicers, I would be taking a blind step in the dark if you hadn't done all the hard work you have. When you get the orders in off your website in the next couple of days for the 8006 you'll see mine among them! Thanks!
The nozzles come with the 8006. The nozzles are used to extrude pasta made from flour. If you want to make pasta out of zuchini, please see my video at watch?v=6WFHqKTI9Lo
no joke. I use to do the Icecream with water and a blender (which was more like a milkshake) this right here with the 8006 tops the chart. I put banana and frozen strawberries in that badboy with some raw cashews AMAZING! I cant wait to try peanuts/ dates/ bananas
If you look to the right you'l see a video of "making pasta with the omega 8006" the lady has extra attachment nozzles for making pasta. I'd like to do linguini out of zuccini. Do you know how i can get these attachments?
There was a 2nd camera that was filming. I was going to use both cameras and edit them together, so you would not have seen me look to the side.. Atlas, the quality of the 2nd camera was not that good, so I ended up not using the footage.
Hi John, I bought the Omega 8004 juicer because of your videos and love it! I'm also beginning to try the different options available. Anyway when I juice, is there some fiber in the juice already or do I have to put the pulp back in? Is the Omega 8004 juicer able to make the pulp small enough that it is already mixed into the juice rather than the pulp being extruded and me putting it back in manually? I can't seem to find that option in the manual. Thanks for your videos Pamela
Hi do the bananas have to be thawed out before you put them thru grinder..they look soft in the video? And does that go for all frozen fruit to be made into sorbet? Let it thaw out for some time or it doesn't matter...any feed back appreciated :)
the bananas should NOT be thawed, as it causes the sorbet to be runny. The bananas in this video were a bit too soft for my liking. Feed at at time, more frozen = better consistency in my opinion.
Those bananas you used were NOT frozen. I tried putting true frozen bananas through the machine and nearly broke it. I heard something crack as the auger fought to mash the frozen banana. I love this machine as a juicer, but be careful with frozen things like bananas.
I hope they do. Chances are they won't, but I have my fingers crossed.

You can put thru boneless meats if you would like as well as ice. There are no other attachments.

I send the nut pulp back through the juicer a few times. It will look like "butter" after the 3rd sometimes 4th time through.

i really like all your vids. they're so full of info and helped me decide which machine to buy. you wear that shirt a LOT.

So basically this machine works as a food processor as well?
Thank you so much John! I just heard that my 8006 could make sorbet, and I was trying to figure out how. I really appreciate this video.

Hello John,
Do you think they will come out with a blank plate for the Omega VERT 330?
Will this grind meat and ice? Is there a separate attachment for it to do this?
put it hanging over the sink into a bigger container?

Great review!! Thanks so much!!
Thank you so much for your response... I am appreciative :) and looking forward to making it!
John, have you ever tried to make hummus with the Omega 8004?
I havent found anything the right shape yet.

Maybe a long time ago. While it will work, I would rather use a food processor. The right tool for the right job is what my grandfather told me.

Yes, banana ice cream is also called banana sorbet. technically there is no cream in it.

"... instead of eating that Snickers bar!" LOL
I love that part where you're all: "And I smell the aroma of fresh ground coffee and it smells, So Strong...."
lol fail with the coffee beans, funny.
