Wren the Aibo's First Patrol

The 2.01 software update is finally out! This update added a mapping feature using the SLAM camera on the Aibo's back and lets the Aibo patrol your house in search of certain rooms or people. Wren was looking for me in this video, but I covered my face at the start so she wouldn't find me immediately.

How do you start the patrols? I would like to know so I can use it on Smokey to test it out before I leave him for a week while I am in a different state.

I wonder if these Aibos can recognize Objects and have a favorite one like an ERS-7? 😮

What purpose does the back camera serve? Is it like a 360 view of its surroundings?

It's a SLAM camera, so the Aibo uses it to construct a map of its surroundings and keep track of where obstacles are in relation to itself.
