Ha, absolutely. I´ve been wondering about that little atonal run from the first chorus back to the second verse, that you can hardly hear in this recording. Still not sure whether it comes from the guitar or the electronics. That thing kills me.
@@elwray3506 Yeah I like that bit too. It's so well judged and suits the ramshackle feel of the song. I really do like this song a lot. It sort of brings together the more direct, raw/scruffy sound this album brought but has the same feel as some older Blur stuff. It's like a perfect marriage. I love older blur stuff too but it almost seems a little too polished and overproduced compared to this where grittier sound really suits the despondent lyrics/vocals.
@@ValleyRC I´d take the "Blur" or the "13" album over any other anytime. Right here with you. And I´ve watched another life performance of this song right after I made my comment. This piece I was talking about is comming from the electronics. Mystery solved :)
@@PeterStuartJr Sorry Peter, I´m giving up. Can´t seem to find it anymore. Was shot in broad daylight at some kinda festival iIrc. Video title is probably too random. Would have loved to help...
Haha Damon can't sing the high parts anymore, lets the ladies do it, still awesome they played this song
totally. also it actually sounds pretty cool having the choir sing the high, responding parts.
i think it was Graham, yeah? on the highs?
@@mattlicariphoto no that was Damon, Graham just did some background vocals during the chorus
@@mattlicariphoto not here
Absolute banger. Was belter then still belter now
2:50 why the hell isn't the camera on Graham!!?
