Shaaanxo Deffinatly! It must have been that weird primer. Alway in the markey for a new drugstore foundation.
It did look good in this video though.
Shaaanxo when I use that primer I find that my foundation would peel off as well and make my face patchy.

Please don't take this as me trying to be mean to Shan, but I love how just completely goofy she is. She's always bubbly even in her rough days and I find that so amazing. Honestly, probably one of the few youtubers left like that.

That primer only goes good with other water based foundations. If that foundation is silicone based that’s why!

As Shan always says, different products work for different people! I bought tarte Amazonian clay foundation, which she raved on, and it worked horribly with my skin and oxidized far too dark for me to pull off. Although Shan has issues with that primer, it’s one of my favorite drug store primers and works great for me. Different things work for different people, never let a single review detour you from products!
Shannon--I am an "older" subscriber, a mom, crazy about make-up. I sort of stumbled onto your channel and all these RUclips make-up artists and can I just say (and i will sound like a mama); You are great! Just the way you are!! I think anyone should get whatever they want to feel awesome about themselves within reason (I am a nurse and I do feel invasive procedures, unless necessary, are risky---the things I have seen...) but, you are beautiful, smart, and I follow you because you actually look like a person gifted with natural beauty which gives me an idea of what these techniques and products look like on REAL people. so--if you want a niche--that is it!! a few years ago I caved and got fillers in my upper lip. Used the really new, really expensive, teeny tiny new molecules--and so sorry. I went to a very expensive and skilled physician and it looked weird. I couldn't wait for the 6 months and re-absorption to happen. Sure, aging is hard and its tempting to try and "perfect" what nature might have missed, but I'd rather look human. and thank you--genius girl--for staying above, what seems to be, rampant DRAMA in the RUclips Make Up world--What the heck is wrong with people???? I've learned a ton (like this old lady wears lashes and I LOVE them!!), I order products based on your recs, and just enjoy your refreshing style--thanks!!
I have blonde eyelashes too.. I'm naturally blonde and I dye my hair jet black, so if I don't wear mascara, I look really weird. Curse blonde eyelashes.. I wonder if people with black eyelashes who dye their hair blonde wish they had blonde eyelashes.. Haha

I have very dark hair, almost black and girl, it is so hard finding brow products because my natural brows are so full.. Thank god for Colourpop and their black brow gel lol

Have you tried getting your eyelashes tinted? (i mean you can try yourself at home but wouldnt recommend 😂) it lasts a few weeks but looks great! It's usually fairly cheap too
One of my redhead friends tints her eyelashes! It looks amazing and she loves it!

Summary: I did not like the WNW face primer at all.
I am SO longwinded!
Back when Wet n Wild Photo Focus first came out and everyone HAD to have it, I bought some from the WNW website and also bought the primer, eyelid primer and setting spray. Unfortunately, I hated the smell of the foundation and the little paddle that you slap the foundation onto your face with, then shove the paddle back in the bottle (unhygienic much?), the primer actually made my foundation ball up when I put on the foundation, the lid primer made my shadows patchy even though I applied the primer very evenly then put a light wash of light shadow all over my lid. Then the setting spray smelled like straight alcohol. So despite four fails (IMHO), I do still love some WNW products like their highlighters.

Lmao when u said "blooming good" I had PTSD style flashbacks to my shift at Outback Steakhouse today and had to rewind to make sure I wasn't actually hallucinating
I got about half way through the video and everything was going so well and Shannon loved the makeup and then I saw there was still like 15 mount left of the video and I was like "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENS?!" Hahahahaha. Shannon definitely saved the look from the foundation going weird! Looked gorgeous!
If the primer is pilling, check the base against your moisturiser or whatever you put on before it, it can simply be down to the oil and water don't mix issue but if it's a pore filler they're usually silicone based and I'm not 100% sure about the compatibilities where that's concerned.
Dude I’d wash my face & re- do but keep the eyes!😳

I totally agree with you on the drugstore makeup products because not all the products end up meeting the expectations they claim to have . It’s true it’s affordable but sometimes I feel like you end up spending more money on the drugstore stuff to find the right product .

Kandee had a tip a loooong time ago about how to avoid ending up with an uneven bottom lip, it’s obviously common because no one has symmetrical lips. She said to start by lining the center first, and then line up to the corners, that way you keep the same angle from the outer corner to the bottom. When you line each side individually and meet in the middle they will always come out uneven. Also, I️ have lip fillers- my husband was against it until they were done, and he says it made my lips feel softer and pillowy when kissing, he changed his mind about them once they were done! I️ got mine to even out my lips as well, not necessarily to go bigger, and I️ love them. Definitely something I️ will continue to do. I️ also have not experience any change, good or bad, in how dry or not dry my lips are.

Shan your face is beautiful and I love your nose!I had to have surgery on mine after a bad break and it literally changed my whole face so it's a lot to consider and shouldn't be done lightly.Its your body and if it really bothers you then I understand but make sure you're 100% sure first xx❤

This foundation is my daily and I can honestly say THE PROBLEM IS WITH YOUR PRIMER! Please do this again without the primer and if you could somehow use both foundations that would be awesome :) would be keen to hear your thoughts on the luminous one vs the longwear one
