Hey Jay, it's always nice having more space for our things. That awning, you put up should have some type of brace support. You could use EMT and flatten the ends. The reason why is if you get a really strong wind storm it could act as a perfect sail ⛵️. Just hate for something like that to happen. Just a pro tip man.
I'm with you when you say "we are not meant to sit down." I've worked in offices and hated it, too. Plus, one of the last time I worked in an office (as a temp), I couldn't help but notice how many people were unbelievably wide in the bottom section. I'm not going to say that was the cause but I did lose two dress sizes when I stopped working in an office. Just saying.
OMG Jay I couldn't believe the lack of tears when you decided to repaint the shed. don't let the Perkins see this video you might get more painting jobs. Stop the charades we all know you secretly love to paint. 😂 The shed looks 10 times better and the colour looks great too. Your videos are getting better everytime.
My wife and I watch your show religiously. I appreciate your transparency and honesty about skill level and tools. Inspiring. A man after my own heart. Keep up the good work. You’re a good egg.
Jason I like that the shed has been painted, looks much better with the surrounds and doesn't stand out. Good that you got the gutters in on time. Thanks for a great video, much happened. Did the kids realise that you and Stephanie got away for your wedding anniversary? Congratulations on that 🎉
I am catching up on your builds and you are doing an amazing job! Some suggestions I think you might like, and might be worthy. Not sure if anyone has mentioned anything or not. I would add some adventech on the same are where you made that little shelf for the chargers for Nana. Just to make sure if it rains from the right angle, it wont damage anything. As for your shop, it is looking awesome! I would take a look into using French Cleats on the wall by your miter station. It is a really good way to help hang things up, and if you find that some items really need to be moved, you can do so easily. it is amazingly sturdy, and many people use it to hang many more things much heavier than batteries and tools. as always, Love watching! So much fun.
You know you can put all that long lumber on the roof of your garage underneath your lean too. Just put a couple supports on the facia and put it on the shingles of the garage.
Say hey, Jay! Whaaat? I can't believe that you're painting! Where's Ray when you really need him? Excellant job of walking backwards up your driveway! You didn't stumble or fall even once! Very coordinated. You do realize that you've added to your work around the house with the gutter right? Being so close to the trees your're going to have to clean the leaves out of it regularly to keep it draining properly. Or, as many here have said, install some sort of cover. Either way, more work. Oh yeah, happy anniversary. Now you can shoot for 25.
Admiral Spruance used a stand up desk in WWII. Admiral Nimitz would send bureaucrats to see Spruance. They wouldn’t stay long as there was no place to sit.
That was just great to watch with a coffee before work, roof plumbing added to your building skills but your wood butchery out back had me laughing jay. Thanks again for being the star you are 👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
Hey Jay, when attaching the downspout outlet, pop rivet it to outside of gutter and then use a utility knife and cut slits (6) in gutter and then fold sections down through outlet, it won’t leak and downspout will hide outlet. When attaching end caps add a pop rivet on front and back side where cap overlaps gutter.
looks good Jay, would only suggest adding a leaf guard so your not always getting up the ladder to clear out blockages. Otherwise, with those trees behind the garage/shed it will definitely block up over time.
Hey Jay, Looking good. You asked and I will answer. end caps and down tube want you to rivet them together. you can always go back and add them to the seams you don't/won't take apart in the future. and you should add some sort of gutter guard to prevent dirt/leaf/stick damns.
When you say we Jay were here with you so thanks for including us on your builds they're very informative I can't wait til I start building my home in Haynesville NC.
Everything looks great Jay. I would think you would cut the corrugated sheet metal in smaller pieces and have the ridges going down the pitch you created. you'll have to add more bracing and use up more sheet metal which you have left over anyways. It'll make sure everything drains off of it and not puddling or going back to your garage. Keep doing what you're doing, you're making great content!!
I like the look of your shed, but I can't stop looking at the unpainted wood under the roof (I'm from Denmark so I don't know what it's called) Buy Ray a beer (or soda) and paint the inside too 😋
LMAO You are indeed lucky with the rain. In Wales, it has rained virtually every day for 3 weeks or more. The waterfall on the right side of the property would be a fitting tribute to any of the bigger waterfalls. Nice changes to the shop, it's working out fine. Regards to all 👍
I've done a little bit of gutter work, mostly mending or small additions/modifications. For something of that size I know a guy that does gutters and will knock it out on a Sunday for a good price. Takes him no time at all and seamless.
I liked the black paint so I, like yourself, was sceptical about the paint job. I was wrong. It looks really great. The black between the slats really makes it pop. Nicely done.
KUDOS! Your workshop and shed turned out great. I am giving you an A+ for the build, and an A+ for your dedication and commitment! (Your wife is very pretty 😊)
So, I've never done gutters before, but recently had one pull away from house recently. It just so happens that my son and I watched this video this morning. Having just watched you work the brackets made it super easy for us to fix everything. I appreciate it.
Hi Jay, The usage of pop rivets to join and/or secure guttering is a common practice with plumbers as well as self tapping screws. Rivets provide a secure, strong and easy install solution on all types of guttering. I enjoy your videos, as well as you with the Perkins boys too. Keep up the good work! Greg from Australia.

That’s a cool desk, may have to go check that out
Not gonna lie, I feel more confident to do my own gutters after watching you do yours. Yeah, I do
Man I hope you pitch the tin roof away from the building
Hey Jay, it's always nice having more space for our things.

Looks great Jay. Matching the addition to the original building has made it look a lot more unified. Nice work.

Jay, you have a beautiful home and property! You've done a good job upgrading the place! ❤
I like you from watching Perkins brothers. You are always hilarious. Thank you
3:58 when you said your nemesis I was hoping it was that damn neighbor’s goat 🐐 again 😂
😅😅😅
Thanks for the laughs. You sure brighten up my day. Lol
Looked better in black in my opinion 🤷♀️
Color change looks much better.
You ought to consider placing your dust collector in the new addition = more space in the shop, less noise, cleaner
Jason thank you for being genuine. This world has way too many fake people who go around patting themselves on the back.
Keep up the great work.
Thanks Gerard!!
And make a nice Gate in front of road New project 😂😆Greetings from The Netherlands 👍
Paint job looks better than the black. Think about putting some leaf guards over the gutters.
My wife and I watch your show religiously. I appreciate your transparency and honesty about skill level and tools. Inspiring. A man after my own heart. Keep up the good work. You’re a good egg.
Wow, thank you!
That's much better than the black paint. I think it's more whole now than before
Looks great with the new color, Jay!
I’m motivated… I’m pumped! I’m spring cleaning my garage next week.
That color is spot on! Looks great and better than the black. Great job!
Good job. I love how Stephanie always looks at you in a suspicious way. Lol.
Grat job on the entire project, especially almost all singe handed👍
Jason I like that the shed has been painted, looks much better with the surrounds and doesn't stand out. Good that you got the gutters in on time. Thanks for a great video, much happened. Did the kids realise that you and Stephanie got away for your wedding anniversary? Congratulations on that 🎉
You need to paint the other two garage doors black and i think it will flow better
and paint the trim white to match the garage?
That’s the plan.
I liked the black. But it looks great.

Just add leafguards to the gutter . Easy cleaning .
Happy Anniversary 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻God bless for many more!❤️❤️
Jay u r the best, thank God for our wives to help us out when a third hand is needed, also big hugs to Nana!🇺🇸📐😊
Admiral Spruance used a stand up desk in WWII. Admiral Nimitz would send bureaucrats to see Spruance. They wouldn’t stay long as there was no place to sit.
@2:55 I am sure you said "nice straight cut" 🤣 love the vid as always dude
Congratulations enjoy your vacation
Binge watched the farmhouse build. Remember when asked what you disliked the most you said painting😮. Liking the color change on your garage edition.
Oh wow. I liked the black. But as always it looks great.
Awesome color and it looks like it was part of your shop originally!
happy anniversary may bless u and your wife safe travel
Hey Jay, ich freu mich immer wenn ein neues Video von euch rauskommt! 😍👍✌
That was just great to watch with a coffee before work, roof plumbing added to your building skills but your wood butchery out back had me laughing jay.
Thanks again for being the star you are 👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
Beautiful spread Jay 🤘🤘🤘
The new paint color looks much better !
What a bonus it was! Thanks for sharing, Jay!

Loved the entire series Jay! I hope you find another project and bring us along with you.
new paint 👍🏼
I inquired back when you built the shed if it leaked at the roofing junction. I knew it was only a matter of time.... 🙂 Lexel to the rescue!!!
Dude that came out great! 🤜🏻🤛🏻
That clamp for the end cap is a great idea
Now you know Jamie would say you need flashing on the back for your shed room for the bikes. 😃
looks good Jay, would only suggest adding a leaf guard so your not always getting up the ladder to clear out blockages. Otherwise, with those trees behind the garage/shed it will definitely block up over time.
Hey Jay, the holes in the downspout "hole adapter" are for rivets.
Came out Great, You Guys really have a nice place there. Ray
Congratulations on your Anniversary!
Right on Jay.

Pro tip
The color difference is based on the base… you are going over black. It looks GREAT!
love the little worker grunts lmao
You have a nice placeJay…lots of space…
When you say we Jay were here with you so thanks for including us on your builds they're very informative I can't wait til I start building my home in Haynesville NC.
I appreciate that
@@Building_Jays_Way we appreciate you
Looks AWESOME Jay😀
2x4 rafter hangers or simple galvanized right angle brackets for soaked leafs under downpour conditions.

Hello from Vancouver Island 🏝️🇨🇦

Oh my…love your hammer drill…once again…great warm honest DIY video!
It was a great project, it looks fantastic and thank god the black outside is painted😂😂😂😂
Everything is a hammer😂
Looks great Jay kudos to Nana for helping out. The paint looks great. Can’t wait for the next project.
I've done a little bit of gutter work, mostly mending or small additions/modifications. For something of that size I know a guy that does gutters and will knock it out on a Sunday for a good price. Takes him no time at all and seamless.
Use rivets to attach the end caps. Screws would also work. The pros use a crimping tool.
10-4
Looks better painted Jay
Looks like a real carpenter did it 😂Keep it going Jay! Enjoy your videos brother
I really like how you've come about your projects Dude!!! Itsssss Banging!!!! sweeeettttt
Looks great jay.👍
About a thousand times better on the color.
Awesome stuff Jay! 😃👍🏼👊🏼
keep up that great work, Jay!
LOOKS GREAT.
Awesome Jay 👍
I liked the black paint so I, like yourself, was sceptical about the paint job. I was wrong. It looks really great. The black between the slats really makes it pop. Nicely done.
Use a needle nose pliers to crimp the big end by just increasing the ridges to pull the size in…. Good job!
Nana to the rescue.... love it.
I myself really like the new tan look. The fact that the boards have a opening and the black accents really pop. Looks great.
should use pop rivets on all joints on guttering to keep them from Separating over time
Looks better! Nice work!
I answered when you called Ray. Lol. Color match looks awesome.
lol.
KUDOS! Your workshop and shed turned out great. I am giving you an A+ for the build, and an A+ for your dedication and commitment! (Your wife is very pretty 😊)
Thanks.
Kickers will seem more important after the first snow, methinks.
Looks amazing happy anniversary to you both
Something as basic as the horizontal slats, painting it the same as the house has made it look like more of a finished look. Very nice job, Jay.
31:22 quadruple seam. Leaking there, Randy
Thanks.
looks way better
Looking fantastic Jay the new paint is much better keep the great work going
New paint looks GREAT!
Nice color change. White trim and door would look nice also.
Great Job on the shop!! Now that your an expert painter lol, consider painting the ceiling black and with those new lights that will be a cool look!!
100%

Welcome.
You need a shirt that reads " I don't know, Lexel it That should fixt it" You'll make a fortune. Love it
Yes.

Paint looks great! Looks like a match to me.
