Meru University closed indefinitely after student riots

The Meru University of Science and Technology has been closed indefinitely and the graduation ceremony set for Saturday the 11 this month called off. This comes after students went on rampage destroying property as they protested sending of the institution’s vice chancellor Romanus Odhiambo on terminal leave.
