I have ordered and used this icing for details a few times and I love it! Instead of using a mixer I just sifted it into a bowl and stirred it with water until smooth. Stirring it eliminated the flying powder. The reason I sifted it was because when used straight from the jar it has tiny lumps of something, maybe cornstarch, that clogs small hole tips if not stirred enough. If used in tipless bags it works better for me when making small details or writing. The color is pretty and shiny gold. I haven’t tried flooding cookies with it yet.
I saw this a few weeks ago, but I didn't know if it was a good product since I am a beginner cookier. Well, I am sold!!! Thank you for the video and the product use.
Very interesting! Thanks for taking the time to review this product. I love the way it smoothed out! How would you say, does it compare to, let’s say TMP gold in shine and color? It looks a little more yellow to me, like when you use the edible gold powders. Also, I have that same hand mixer 😝
It's VERY shiny!!! But...as you noticed, it's definitely more of yellow-gold than a brown-gold. In person, it's not SO yellow that you notice it right away...but I still prefer a more brown-gold.

I was definitely a skeptic! 😂😂 I'm sooooo glad it works!!!
wow!! thank you for this review. You Have helped me decide on this product. looks like something great to invest in.
Hi, Can I use this product in buttercream frosting?
Can we use this gold icing mix in the mold?
Thank you for this. By the way love your writing!
Awesome. Wish I knew this last week as I’m doing a wedding set this week with gold accents. But wow, so cool, thank you!
I'm actually excited for gold details now!
Great product review! Can this be used as a drip on cakes? If so, would you know the ratio? TiA!
Yes! It can be! The ratios for a drip are actually printed on the jar itself!
Thanks for the video; can the icing be thinned for "drip" consistency?
Yes!
Love the review...thank you! How did it taste?
Weirdly - like marshmallows!
I love product reviews, so, thank you!
I'm so glad they are helpful!!

@@LilaLoa_Cookies good to know! Thanks Georganne!
Oh wow!! I can’t wait to order, I’m so tired of painting the gold😩
SAME!!!!
Detailed review! Thank you very much

I love the gold color icing! What did you use to make your cookie dark & shiny!
The base icing is just regular black royal icing. I put it in a dehydrator (on low) for the first 10 minutes of dry time to give it that sheen!
@@LilaLoa_Cookies Thank you I didn’t think about using the dehydrator for adding the sheen. I will defiantly try this.
Can you put the link to order this? Pretty please

Thank you for all the information!!😍😍
I'm glad it's helpful!
It looks amazing, is it a good price for the amount of product?
I would guess that the entire jar would make about 2-3 cups of royal icing.
Has anyone tried using this doing wet on wet technique?
I have! It's a little heavier than regular royal icing so it sinks a little as it dries.
Thank you- very cool
Thanks
😋😋👌👌
how about you just use a millennia old spatula to mix it? lol
You totally can! But it actually has better structure when you use an electric mixer.
