Ugh these two... It makes me so sad to see their lives fall apart in the end. They lost each other and everything they loved and cared for. They've been through so much through out the entire course of the show. I still absolutely miss this show.. lol.

The relationship of these two were so much complexe.They obviously cared about eachother even if most of the times they didn't see it themselves They shared a real connection.They drove eachother crazy ,they hurt eachother,they confided to eachother ,they challenged eachother , they surprised eachother, they betrayed eachother , they fought many times,they were close to death together so many times.They shared so much good &bad moments together.And despite everythings they never been able to be done with the other. That it was fate or by their will, they always got back to eachother.But more important ,at the moments where they could kill the other ,they couldn't do it because at these very moment ,they realized their connection.
Well, except for when Walter let the nazis take Jesse to torture and kill him.

In Walt's eyes, Jesse had betrayed him by working with Hank and snitching on him. Because Walt loved him he was obviously hurt by what Jesse had done. For Walt to hate Jesse that much at this point he had to love him. Betrayal hurts a hell of a lot more when it comes from someone you really love and care about. Since Jesse had pretty much crushed him there he really just wanted Jesse to feel as much pain as he was feeling at the time and he also felt as though Jesse was responsible for Hank's death.

People have no idea what this show means to me. It brought me out of my deepest depression I have been in. This show was like a second family to me when things got bad. I don't have words for what this show means to me. I love the cast so much. Thank you VG for making this wonderful show.

I really enjoyed those moments, when Walter saves Jesse. Whenever is the bad guy or is angry at him, he always saves Jesse, like a son.
Except when he lets a crew of sadistic neonazis torture him for information and subsequently enslave him.
Yeah but even in the finale he did save Jesse after he was tortured. He could of let him die but instead pushed him over to stop him getting shot because he realised how much he cared about him.

You know he went there to kill him along with the others, right? Only after he saw that Jesse was not using his formula for profit as Walt thought, instead he got enslaved because of Walt's actions, did he change his mind. Now whether it was out of love or guilt is up for interpretation, but as I said - since Walt was completely ok with Jesse getting tortured before, I think it was just pure, old fashioned guilt.
Vilkku I am not sure if I entirely agree with this but some people think that Walter saving Jesse was Walters final act of domination over him. Walter controlled whether he lived or died.

This is perfect and it makes me so sad... All Jesse ever wanted was a father figure and to be accepted and loved, and Walt ruined his fucking life.
He made his life and ruined it at the same time. It’s symbolic to their relationship they both ruined each others lives but they loved eachother st the same time in a twisted way. It’s brutal but also beautiful to watch
Such a sad ending on such a great show! I'm most sad over the fact that things got so wrong between these two. :(

Jesse isn’t underrated.
Personally, I think he was better than Walter in terms of acting. The only reason Walter stands out more is because of his relatable character arc, not many people can relate to a drug addict and the life that comes with it because not everyone has witnessed the effects it has on themselves or their family.
That’s not to say that people don’t relate to Jesse as a character but they just don’t understand it the same way they do with Walter.
Many people experience someone die or live with cancer in their lifetime and almost anyone can relate to it - who can say they wouldn’t make similar choices for the betterment of their family (not as extreme obviously).
Jesse stands out because of his integrity as opposed to Walter who completely loses his as the show progresses.
Aside from that, I think this is the best edit for Breaking Bad out there even if the song is a little dramatic, it still fits the tone of the show perfectly.
This show will always be my favorite. It is amazing long live Walter white

Really does make you think what would have happened if the two had never crossed paths. Jesse would have never suffered the extreme lows that he did like the death of the people he loved but he would never have experienced the highs like the happiness he felt with Jane and Andrea.

The parallels, the contradictions, but then, their true relationship at its core. Walt truly did love Jesse as his own son, and Jesse looked to Walt as a father figure. No matter the damage that cannot be undone, they still felt for one another. BRAVO for making me want to watch the entire series all over again! haha :)
