    I am a physical therapist in Australia treating mostly 50+yo's.
    Thanks so much for this lecture. I did not know about the ACh connection with falls and middle stage PD.
    I will talk with colleagues about Rivastigmine therapy.
    This also reinforces my perspective and experience that any intervention that improves blood flow, optimal intra-cranial pressure, nutrient and O2 delivery, and removal of metabolic waste, is likely to slow PD progress.

    Have u had any experiences with moving backwards and then falling backwards?

    • @teresadriscoll7753
      @teresadriscoll7753 Год назад +1

      That is the one thing that my husband does have an issue with so he needs to be aware to not step backwards as his balance is his major issue. He just started using a cane but still needs to turn around instead of stepping back so as not to fall backwards. Falls are one of the major causes of death in most older people already and they are a high risk for people with Parkinson’s.
