    My oldest yeti cup is over five years old and I absolutely do not baby it. I travel with it, I use it practically every day and the paint on the exterior has never faded or chipped and it’s still as good as it was when I bought it. The only thing is the clear plastic gets scratched up, no biggie.

      That’s good to hear I’ve already bought two after I said I didn’t need one they got me good when they came out with the king crab orange 30oz rambler 😂

    Hi
    Lovely cup from Yeti . I have the same one and I really like it .
    A good tip I would give is to preheat your Yeti cup with hot boiling water for few minutes and then make coffee or tea or any hot drink.
    When have a cold refreshing beverage I would recommend to put inside the fridge for like 5-10 minutes and then add the cold beverage in with some ice if you prefer ice .
    Cheers from UK .

      Great idea! I've heard of doing this type of thing for preparing a cooler for use, but didn't consider doing that for the Yeti mug. Thanks for commenting!

      The 14oz is pretty big, but bigger you’ll need to get one of their taller models. Check out the cupholder expander in the description for that solve. Take care!

    I have the 10 oz Yeti and the Ozark Trails 10 oz. The Yeti does not hold hot as promise. I have not tried the cold. It is a good cup but heavy. The Ozark Trail's 10 oz is close to keeping coffee as hot as the Yeti. 5-8 minutes different is holding heat is not a deal breaker. The Ozark Trail's cup does not have a handle.. You can not go wrong with either mug.

    • @spencers-adventures
      @spencers-adventures  Год назад

      Yeah I agree with you, the Yeti doesn't hold as long as I originally expected but I still find the length of time to be sufficient for the amount of liquid it actually holds. The Ozark Trail mug is surely a deal at its price tag too. Thanks for the comment!

    A lot of reviews say these yeti coffee mugs don’t retain heat very well which is disappointing because they look great.

    • @spencers-adventures
      @spencers-adventures  Год назад +4

      I will say that it holds heat pretty well, but there are definitely better options. I use it my yeti at home a lot simply to keep my coffee warmer for longer, as I like to enjoy it for a couple hours. If you need to keep coffee piping hot for hours on end, a thermos may be a better option, because you can pour out a certain amount into the lid and let it cool to drink it as you please. Thanks for the comment!

    You have a hard time drinking 10 oz of coffee? What are you some kind of lightweight or something? I drink my coffee from a 20 oz rambler, and when I'm done that I fill it again. In all it takes me a little more than an hour to drink 40 oz.

    • @spencers-adventures

      Lol ya you’re right, it does sound pretty lightweight what I said! I love a good cuppa joe like anyone else, I am one who forgets about my beverage though and sips it over hours and hours. Sounds like you need the big cup for sure! Thanks for the comment

    • @spencers-adventures

      In most vehicles it does not fit in the cup holders. However, Amazon sells a “cup holder expander” which will fit all the yeti products. I have a nalgene water bottle too so it also would benefit from the expander. Thanks for your comment!

    Weird question but does the coffe Taste stain ? Like wehn you drink coffee, wash it and then put water in it doesn't help water taste like coffe?

    • @spencers-adventures
      @spencers-adventures  9 месяцев назад

      No I don't find it to hold onto any flavour. Unless you're leaving coffee in it for days and it causes a build up of the oils. However I also don't use mine for plain water. I use it for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc. Hope that info helps!

    • @spencers-adventures
      @spencers-adventures  Год назад +1

      Hey buddy glad you enjoyed the video! Because of the double-walled design of the mug no heat is transferred to the handle, so it doesn't get hot at all. Hope that helps!

      @@katie2110 the body of the cup maybe gets a tiny bit warm but not much. Isn’t something you can hold to warm up your hands for sure. Very little if any heat is transferred from the beverage to the mug. Thanks for the question!

      @@katie2110 Just the top edge where the steel is folded over gets warm, but if you use the lid, you won't really notice. Otherwise the rest of the outside of the mug stays room temp.

    I hate drinking out of sippie cups, so will this keep a cup of coffee hot for 30 minutes uncovered? I have been using ember mug for years, but they never improved the flaws and it’s starting to flake.

    • @spencers-adventures
      @spencers-adventures  Год назад +1

      I think given what the walls of this cup are made of, you would find some improvement VS a normal ceramic mug. That being said, the lid keeping hot vapour inside the cup is likely essential to the heat retention of the yeti. Maybe I’ll make a follow up video on this soon, thanks for your comment!

      @@spencers-adventures I'm just trying my cup for the first time now, and it keeps it super hot for a while. I'm use to my cheap $8 cup that allows the coffee to cool down after a short time so I can drink it. Still too hot to drink.
