Wakfu Special 1 | Goultard the Barbarian (Eng Sub)

Wakfu is a (very pretty) French animated fantasy series based on the MMO of the same name. Over the years, it's gotten a small handful of OVA-like special animations. Unfortunately, all of the results I can find about them seem to be people asking where to find and watch them, so in the absence of Ankama providing any way to buy or view them, I hope I'll be allowed to archive them. They're not in particularly high quality, but they were the only versions I was able to dig up after a great deal of searching.

I appreciate your uploading the specials here! Having a place to reliably go back and find these OVAs is a godsend and the ability to make our own archival copies is important preservation work. Given how hard this special is to find, it's fascinating seeing it for the first time with all the context of Wakfu media that followed it. Thanks again!!

@@XTApocalypse lol no it isn't. One activity is inherently fantastical. The other is something almost anyone has the ability to do. It would just be really weird and troubling if they actually did. It's like watching an American cartoon where a character casually beats a dog to death and everyone laughs about it and moves on and then wondering if that's just a cultural norm there.
But all that's irrelevant because I was making a joke.

It's a fantasy show. It doesn't take place in France. That you would see this fantasy world action and immediately infer it to be something done in real life by the French is tasteless at best and racist at worst.
