Sorry for the late reply, but I agree so hard! I have a bunch of close, loving friends, but I still envy these guys a ton. I live like thirty minutes from Glendale, and I wish they had the time and patience to be my friend! I love them all so much, and not in just a fanboy kind of way. I legitimately think we'd get along very well. We love similar things, and we have the same sense of humor... Ugh, I'm such a dork. Long live the Grumps, including Barry and Kevin, even though they left.
Ross is probably the only person to throw something really hard at his favorite singer, and still be close friends.

Yes! I believe he moved to America when he was very young though, so lost his accent with time.
He moved here four or five years ago. He met his wife, Holly, then married in 2012.
His Australian accent seems to come out the more he talks about Australia.
The same happens to me when I get excited and talk loud. Suddenly out of nowhere my Australian accent thickens, and everyone around me is like "what the hell are you saying?".

What I got from this was that he tolerates story in a game, but he could live without it. Of course, as he said, there are exceptions. At least that's what I got.

Fallout is a series that has very story-based games with very few cutscenes (even though the crash-in-face dialog from 3 and New Vegas can cut the action quite a bit), but it can often help enrich the experience by knowing what you're fighting against, or, for example, in New Vegas there are a lot of fun political games you can play by pretending to support a faction, then betraying it with speech-type stat-checks.
But I do agree that a barely-a-game like The Order:1886 can be super jarring and annoying when you want to feel the gameplay and the game just asphyxiates you in cutscenes.
I agree. Fucking love Fallout. I guess me and Arin are polar opposites on video games. I could spend hours naming or creating a character and enjoy seeing them interact with their surroundings as if they were my children, while Arin would probably just give them a silly name and appearance. In Fallout I tend to talk to everyone about everything to understand the lore a lot better. Imagine Arin playing Fallout, it would be a complete nightmare for me.
***** I guess you're right. I just imagined him running around the wasteland yelling "WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO" but I forgot that Fallout gives just enough freedom for him to do ANYTHING. It does seem like a problem for games like Uncharted. Though in a previous Q&A he said that he usually picks a girl because he doesn't connect to his character and would rather look at a girl the whole time he's playing. While I usually pick a guy character because I am one and would like to connect to my character as much as possible.

Then again, I can't stand watching other people play decision-based games and doing things I wouldn't have done. But I guess that's a personal problem.
***** I will say that, as much as I like to get the full immersive experience in Fallout and The Elder Scrolls, I've had 6 files starting from scratch in New Vegas, and one of them was a kill-everything run just for fun and some being the douchiest dick on the wild wasteland and its surroundings.

Janelle Boland Yeah, now that you mention it, they aren't nearly as "edgy" as they were maybe a year or two ago. I think RUclips has been getting a been getting more strict about what can be said and what can't. I've noticed that a little with some other RUclipsrs that I watch and they don't really swear as much as they used and they have toned down their edge. I'm not sure why RUclips has gotten more strict about that, though. This isn't public access television.

***** Anarchy Reigns is fucking godlike. It might not have a ton of depth to the gameplay but what is there feels fantastic. It plays like a newer more polished God Hand with less depth, and that's fine by me. As far as ***** saying Platinum make consistently bad games, I'm going to have to assume that you've either NEVER played a Platinum game, or you're just too bad at them to make progress and thus write them off as bad because of "artificial" difficulty. You can't get through Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising, Wonderful 101, Vanquish, etc by just mashing attack buttons and hoping for the best. Their games require you to learn the mechanics and make them second-nature quickly to be completed, usually because of the incredibly punishing enemy designs. You gotta get gud or get got, son.

I know no one is going to read this because this comment is so late, but image there is an alternate timeline where game grumps doesn't exists, and it's all because arin's friend didn't get cold feet, and he ends up marrying suzy. So arin never meets his true love, thus going into a depression like the alternate xavier in X-men. Thus he never has the will power to make game grumps. I think we all have to thank arin's friend for being to scared to meet suzy. If it wasn't for him game grumps might not have ever been a thing.

Being an artist, do you ever watch a TV show or Movie or whatever and see a cute character and be like fuck. I wish I could see her butt. AND THEN YOU REALIZE YOU CAN DRAW ANYTHING YOU WANT!
