Mitchell BNCR Invasion of the Body Snatchers and Paramount Studios camera

  • This is a Mitchell BNCR camera from 1955. It is attributed to shooting Invasion of the Body Snatchers and while at Paramount Wings the TV series and Frasier. It must have worked many more movies and shows while at Paramount. It was the top of the line camera and I'm sure it was a workhorse at Paramount.

    Bausch and Lomb and Cook were the most common.. Mitchell didn't make lenses when there were so many good lenses that could be put in a Mitchell mount.

    Wow way cool... We had a 16mm Mitchell when I was in college... I still have my 1957, 16mm Bolex H16 that I bought used for school... If you have a sec. give my video of it a look... Thanks, Moses...
