I think on the other side of the coin, all the AI users who don't or cannot monetize are also part of the victims here. First of all Sorry for my english. BTW. I was curious about it so i tested it with paying chat gpt and giving it a try. 1 with just a guy who walks. The result was totally bad cause the walking was not good. Let me explain better: as you can see in this video at min 2:16 the walking is not good cause the legs and the arms are not alternated. I tried all over so much to make the AI understand it but in the end IT said that he is cannot do it cause is an AI and cannot perform such a extremly detailed. To be more precise it says: "The main reason is that, being an artificial intelligence focused on image generation, I cannot control the specific details of movements and lighting as a human artist would. Image generators like mine can create coherent images, but they do not always manage to precisely capture the nuances of complex animations, such as the exact alternation of light on each leg frame by frame." 2 So I tryed with a car. It seems ok but nothing that I would ever use for my stuffs. And when I asked to make it from 2d to turn it around 180 degrees it never worked. 3 Then I tryed asking for a flying bird in 2d pixel art. It actually seems good but ones again nothing that I would use ever. So no is not good.

i did use edge designer AI to create art but since it does not remember the rest of the conversation sprites sheets that are consistent are a no-go. i have to upload a model for the style and i would need to upload few images to help him get on the right track. For the game assets that do not move it is a great source but once you want animation it does not come in the right order, have 3 heads 2 swords ect im suscribing to openai today im gonna study the model on hugging face too i wonder if i can build something from that model..the futur shines bright

THIS AI STILL VERY DUMB It just can't generate a simple human movement properly. Consistency is a major issue, sometimes it changes the character or adds something new to the sprites. Creating animations for the same character jumping and moving is nearly impossible because the AI generates different versions each time. It's not practical for game development unless you want completely different characters for every type of movement.

If your an animator just work with ai to cut your work load in half. Animation and manga is hard. Some are highly under paid. With this the work can come a bit easier and artist can find more rest time. It would be better worth the pay to not be incredibly exhausting and have low pay. So there's ab idea for artist
