I filmed this video in the summer but thought I had lost the footage 😭 I had filmed this after her first studio album, dopamine, had been released. Around that time, there was this unkind and unconstructive discourse happening on twitter which pushed me to make this videos. Normani is a talented singer and performer and black pop stars including her should be given grace. Art in whatever form is not instant noodles, sometimes good things takes time and that is okay. I honestly loved #dopamine my favourite songs in the album was #insomnia and #candypaint I will like to know what your favourite songs were ♡
