Ohio Had an abundance of Elk in the early 18th century. Indians here named the Muskingum river that flows through southern Ohio. Muskingum in the indian dialect means 'Elk Eye'.
I seen your RUclips video this evening,and you mentioned that you wear a Virginia breeches. My 6 Great grandfather is Captain John Baker,him and my other 6 or 7 Great grandfather John Peter Fox were Virginians !!! Can you give me some information on Virginia breeches please???

Yes sir! They are made of Virginia cloth, which was the name for a cloth made of a wool and cotton mixture. It was later called Jean cloth.
