Outstanding New Beginnings for this channel. Clothing and other accourtremnts are realistic and not the fantasy items used in most historical endeavor's. Looking so forward to new and exciting videos about the frontier....Good Luck...

Thank you so very much for that. Being as authentic as possible in looks and research is the soul of this endeavor. If there is any piece of clothing or equipment that you see and you would like elaborated on let me know!

Just heard about your channel by watching Peter Kelly's Woodland Excape at Martin's Station. I'm a student of the 18th century too. I'll be tuning in. Thanks for doing another fine show.

New subscriber to your channel. Your videos are really well put together and I like they you don't spend too much time introing the video and getting quickly to the point. Seeing your sons out there makes me realize I need to do better getting my 4 year old son out in the woods more

Ohio Had an abundance of Elk in the early 18th century. Indians here named the Muskingum river that flows through southern Ohio. Muskingum in the indian dialect means 'Elk Eye'.

Yes sir! They are made of Virginia cloth, which was the name for a cloth made of a wool and cotton mixture. It was later called Jean cloth.
