- This has been my passion for the last few years.. Never built a pc before this and now i have arduino's everywhere.. Built all the displays, fans and the rig itself. The motion part i took from open source SFX-100 and modified it to do up to 150mm using Mige motors.
Very cool rig mate. Just completed one myself recently. A little different to yours. They just can't be beaten for that immersion factor once you get those forces tweaked. All you need now is a horizontal rail to get some traction loss happening and you'll be set. Great job.
really awesome rig, but I recommend you to upgrade those speakers. I had the same ones too, but after upgrading them I realized I was using crap. 😅
Yea been thinking of that.. Got a Simucube pro and cube gt zero rim.. So sound is next.. What did you upgrade too??
@@Thaicruiser I have an EDIFIER Luna E25. I bought it because I was attracted to its design and I've been using it for 4 years now and still satisfied with it.
Would that be your own bracket on the rear right upright shock? You're not a millionaire as you can spot a great deal on monitors. I guess the mat is hard foam to absorb the " Others " moans about clanks and thumps. Very cool you lucky guy or whomever. Lot's of room for more playing. Thanks very much for showing us your rig. yea thanks.. Its a solid wood base covered in carpet.. it is pretty quiet to be fair. yea its 2 80x80 brackets on each post... as for the monitors. never seen the point in having high refresh for side screens.. may change them in the future. But still use Steam index a lot.
What are the sfx150 actuator parts used? Profile 300mm, hollow shaft 300mm, screw 300mm?
