I agree Alonso is the next best after Senna. To bad Alonso didn't go to Mercedes instead of Hamilton. He'd have 8-9 Championships most likely. Unfortunately Alonso made his own bed. If he had not played stupid games in his early career, Mercedes might have chosen him instead.

It was Alonso trying to open the door for negotiating a trade for Hamilton. But decided to go back too McLaren instead. Honestly, if Alonso had tried that in 2012, he might have gotten it, but it would have been a trade for Schumacher, or Rosberg. There was no way Hamilton was going anywhere at that point as he was literally in his prime and they knew it. The only option would be to trade for Rosberg and have both Alonso and Hamilton drive as teammates, but we know how that worked at McLaren, it didn't work. Doubt Mercedes would have done it anyways.

And since Brawn became Mercedes, that's 1 more for Merc to make it 14 years straight. And neither are my team. There should be only a 1 second gap in performance between 1-20 during Quali, not ~3 seconds. Horse Power, Weight, Downforce, and Tires should all be equal among the field. Let them develop their cars around that. And if lower teams can't meet it, then the higher teams should drop their performance down to match. Only makes it equal. Otherwise no one else is gonna win. Already looks like another 3-4 years of Red Bull. If they get 4 more, then Red Bull and Merc would have dominated for almost 20 years straight. And that's boring now. F1 is the most diverse, unequal sport in the world these days.

I am Max Fan but still remeber the day when I got him in card back 10 years ago ( I am 18 now ) I put that card on the fridge, at that time I knew he drove for ferrari and he was 2 time f1 champion....
