Why build this when you had an FJ cruiser that looks better and sold very very well. Don't try and reinvent something that is already great. All they had to do was put a same color roof on the FJ and do a natural improvement over the years!
They should try to recreate the look of the FJ40 again like they did with the FJ cruiser. If there trying to take some sales away from Jeep, this ain’t going to do it. It looks more like a Kia then a Jeep
Freaking cool! I have a Honda Element and love it for its versatility, but this is over the top! In a good way. This better be affordable or I'm going to be mad.
Nathan Jackson expect also a pickup version(Gladiator) of the next gen FJ just like the lastest gen Wrangler since its toyota's SUV to compete with that car.
setmedic lol are you not thinking.Production is always different from concept so dont judge what they did since its just a concept. They can make the platform bigger in production version.
Misty Medrano- Jones but Toyota showrooms are already full for sure plan for future cars I think that XB will not return anymore unless Toyota got inpired to Kia Soul.I believe Nissan has a plan to bring back the XB Killer the Cube since they showed a concept that resemblance to it 3yrs ago
Why Toyota doesn't seem to get it that the reason Wranglers sell so well and FJ Cruise did not is because Wranglers have removable top and doors. A lot of the Wrangler drivers I know just drive them to malls anyway. That's one of the main reasons FJ Cruise failed. If this one does not offer removable top and doors, I'll have to make my choice between Wrangler and the new Ford Bronco.
Toyota owners are not mall or weekend drivers. They want reliability and practicality. Fj failed because it was not practical. Room of carolla and gas mileage of sequoia is no sell
Since toyota is killing off the landcruiser in the US it would be awesome if they came out with something like this or a jeep / bronco competitor. Bring back the true landcruiser heritage before it became mostly a luxury mall cruiser. Something hard-core off road and reliable. Seems like it would sell
@@independentgamer5000 4 doors counting the ones on the side rear that dont function on the concept model. You can even see where the handles would be.
I really like this suv’s design and practicality, but the rear needs to go back to the drawing board. Safety was obviously not one of Toyota’s primary concerns in this concept. The sliver of a taillight clearly slapped on and barely noticeable. Not only are the taillights are way too small, they disappear behind the curvature of the trunk. If Toyota would adapt taillights that extend onto the trunk like the BMW i3, this would be an excelent replacement for my Honda Element once I’m out of college.
Protector K9 4x4 no awd. My wife and surf fish from a FJCruiser in Delaware frequently. Just about every weekend some one tries driving out on the beach in an awd vehicle, get stuck, and spin their tires so hard they catch their vehicle on fire. I mean completely engulfed in flames.
Brett Kramer no Toyota have already announce they will make this into mass production but not all feautures of this concept will Toyota put in mass production but Im sure the color style will go in mass production since it resemblance to previous gen Fj cruiser with two tone color

Love weird looking cars! I hope this comes out soon.
It comes out in 2020

Exactly. What was Toyota thinking?
@@gooddaymate1171 i think they're trying to market this car to gay dudes

At the very least it needs to be cheaper than a 4 door wrangler
I to have a Honda Element and love it can’t wait for this to come out!

I LOVEEEEE THIS VEHICLEEE SOOOO MUCHHH!!!! And I love to hike and this is made more me. I definitely love it. ❤❤
I really want this!!
i sorta have a feeling that this is the new Aztec
No
Love it!
That car pulling away in the beginning though
Glad to see Toyota dicking around with new ideas instead of fixing suspension issues on 2nd/3rd gen Tacomas
I love it inside out. Beautiful!
Looks great....just doubt it will be produced unfortunately.
Can we get this in Canada please .
I think I’m in love 😍
wow, toyota is finally making a mall crawler.
Noice! no more boring cars!
too short. wish it was at least as tall as my FJ...
setmedic lol are you not thinking.Production is always different from concept so dont judge what they did since its just a concept. They can make the platform bigger in production version.
Demigod :D I wish they will put it on frame 🤦🏼♂️
Toyota needs to release to the market ASAP
Love the car. I would like one without the goofy removable water bottles, lights and food heater/cooler in back.
How long We will be waiting the availability of this beast..
Beautiful
I miss the XB's....bring those back
Misty Medrano- Jones but Toyota showrooms are already full for sure plan for future cars I think that XB will not return anymore unless Toyota got inpired to Kia Soul.I believe Nissan has a plan to bring back the XB Killer the Cube since they showed a concept that resemblance to it 3yrs ago
is this a Lego on wheels?
I NEEEEEEDDDDD IT
This should be higher and wider and in other colors !
Now this is a replacement for the Honda Element
Bring back the FJ Cruiser.
closest thing to a suzuki jimny hope it comes to the USA
That's great I fucking hate how my sandwiches don't stay warm!

Toyota ist best
Does the toupée come with the SUV?
First thing I noticed. Could not stop staring. Heard nothing he said after that.
If you like this car you might like this guy orange hair too.
Millenials like Miatas and BRZ, any lightweight sports cars. Pretty sure boomers again will be the biggest market for this if it ever comes out
Maybe this Concept for New FJ Cruiser
Looks like a updated scion Xb on steroids.
What's the song?

Please make this !
Looks a little bit small and without the needed ground clearance to to be a substitute for the FJ!
Than it is not for you
All the people complaining of being too small . Stop go buy your gigantic gas guzzler like f250. Majority want affordable small 4or. Like suzuki jimny
When is this coming out. Please dont tell me the silly tj is this ft4x
Awesome, I was just saying yesterday, why the hell isn't Toyota making FJ's? They rock. But this will do.
This looks like an xB Scion more than an FJ
Is this vehicle a 4 seater whit 4 doors or a 2 seater.
2 seater with 2 doors
@NPC#1869 I mean if you count the back hatch as 2 doors then sure. Current known specs say 4 seats optional so might be added pay option
@@independentgamer5000 4 doors counting the ones on the side rear that dont function on the concept model. You can even see where the handles would be.
Copy the BJ60 update the interior and nothing else people will go nuts
Just bring back the FJ
NICE like
Ev Cruiser anyone????
Bring back FJ Cruiser 😩
I really love this car but it supposed to have a back seat
Its gotta have over 200hp and a towing capabilities under 30 grand
Want!

This softroader is for 90s millennials
"Rugged charm" lol
A passive, aggressive vehicle millennials. Perfect !
Is that a hair piece??
Sell it in low 20s with 4wd or awd with mpg over 35 and I'll take it

@@jackhaugh agree with 4wd
Paint it pink and market it as a Barbie car. No dude would be caught dead driving that soy mobile.
take my money.
Sort of a Honda element without the interior size and practicality. But with up dated styling and more bells and whistles.
これイイね!
Honda Element 2.0
We all know why you REALLY built this. The perfect car to survive a zombie invasion in!
Was this filmed by a 12 year old 😂
Can millennials survive in the wild?
You sure say "actually" a lot.
Actually, I don't.
Sorry to say, this cool concept stuff never makes it to mass production, case in point, the Hummer HX :(

Brobox
looks like a gay transformer. I love gay transformers
Bon de dieu de bordel de merde , quand Toyota sera capable de donner une date de commercialisation !
Rugged and masculine, ehh?
$$
I really hope that toyota doesn't mass produce it. This thing is hideous inside out.
Its ugly
i nearly threw up in my mouth looking at this hideous thing
