Regarding DJT's odd behavior of closing eyes at certain times, here's my speculation as an armchair psychologist.....DJT is being confronted with reality, directly and 'intimately' for the first time in life, probably. Worse yet, he is thoroughly restrained from lashing out, an important weapon he has used against factual accusations against him. In a nutshell, DJT is in a completely foreign environment and under great stress = frequent eye closing to help reduce stress, IMO. My guess is that he buckles at some point. I don't agree that he will ever buckle because I don't think he fully understands how gracious the judicial system has been, and will continue to be, towards him as a former American president. I think the man has zero empathy and cannot comprehend any realm of truth other than his own realm. I think he will go to his grave believing there was a witch hunt and that he should be adulated, admired, worshipped, adored, and ugh... all that other stuff he craves. I don't think the justice system will ever put him in jail and, to me, he is among the most deserving of some time in prison as any person I know. The best scenario as I see it is that somehow he is backed in a corner and has two options: 1) withdraw from the presidential race or 2) go to jail for a few days. I don't think a judge would put him in jail for years because it's a first offense; notwithstanding that he's a former President. A "few days" in jail is not enough to compel him to withdraw; nor is it practical given the Secret Service protection. It will take more than that. So our last line of defense is to VOTE in November.
