Anand a business magnate, is twice acquainted with street dancer Devki. Once, he learns about his uncle Mr. Nath’s arrival from abroad to fix up his alliance. So, to escape, he forges Devki as his wife when she wholeheartedly serves them. Here, Anand truly loves and marries her. During their honeymoon, they befriend a couple, Vicky & Yashoda. Afterward, Devki gives birth to a baby boy and Yashoda is carrying. The two couples meet with a disastrous train accident in which Vicky passes away and Devki’s whereabouts are not known. In the relief camp, Anand finds Yashoda and tragically, she goes through a miscarriage and her condition is very brittle. Hence, Anand bestows his child on her. Since grief-stricken he diverges and returns after a few years. In tandem, Yashoda dotes on his child Kishan. Due to affection for his son Anand becomes a frequenter of Yashoda’s house which makes her life miserable, so, she stops him. Shortly, Anand is jubilant to see Devki alive but she is perturbed and aware of her child’s death. Soon after, she meets Yashoda & Kishan and suspects Anand’s intimacy with the child. Then, she forcibly brings the truth to light and is anxious to possess Kishan but Anand bars her. Meanwhile, Nath is cognizant of the status quo. So, he sues the court which decides to hand over Kishan to Anand. Heartbroken Yashoda agonistically sends him. However, depressed Kishan is unable to live without Yashoda and runs away from the house when everyone is in search of him. In that bedlam, Yashoda meets with an accident while guarding Kishan. At last, looking at her motherhood Devki returns the child to Yashoda and collapses. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with glad tidings that Devki is pregnant.

आनंद एक बिजनेस मैग्नेट है, जो स्ट्रीट डांसर देवकी से दो बार परिचित है। एक बार, वह अपने चाचा श्री नाथ के अपने गठबंधन को ठीक करने के लिए विदेश से आने के बारे में सीखता है। इसलिए, बचने के लिए, वह देवकी को अपनी पत्नी के रूप में बनाता है जब वह पूरे दिल से उनकी सेवा करती है। इधर, आनंद वास्तव में उससे प्यार करता है और उससे शादी करता है। अपने हनीमून के दौरान, वे विक्की और यशोदा नामक एक जोड़े से दोस्ती करते हैं। बाद में, देवकी एक बच्चे को जन्म देती है और यशोदा गर्भ में है। दो जोड़े एक विनाशकारी ट्रेन दुर्घटना के साथ मिलते हैं जिसमें विक्की की मृत्यु हो जाती है और देवकी का पता नहीं चलता है। राहत शिविर में, आनंद यशोदा को पाता है और दुख की बात है कि उसका गर्भपात हो जाता है और उसकी हालत बहुत नाजुक हो जाती है। इसलिए, आनंद ने उसे अपना बच्चा दिया। चूँकि दुःखी-पीड़ित वह अलग हो जाता है और कुछ वर्षों के बाद लौट आता है। अग्रानुक्रम में, यशोदा अपने बच्चे किशन पर प्यार करती है। अपने बेटे के प्रति स्नेह के कारण आनंद यशोदा के घर में बार-बार आने लगता है जिससे उसका जीवन दुखी हो जाता है, इसलिए, वह उसे रोकती है। शीघ्र ही, आनंद देवकी को जीवित देखकर प्रसन्न होता है लेकिन वह परेशान है और अपने बच्चे की मृत्यु के बारे में जानती है। इसके तुरंत बाद, वह यशोदा और किशन से मिलती है और बच्चे के साथ आनंद की घनिष्ठता पर संदेह करती है। फिर, वह जबरन सच्चाई को सामने लाती है और किशन को अपने कब्जे में लेने के लिए उत्सुक होती है लेकिन आनंद उसे रोक देता है। इस बीच, नाथ यथास्थिति से वाकिफ हैं। इसलिए, वह अदालत पर मुकदमा करता है जो किशन को आनंद को सौंपने का फैसला करता है। हृदयविदारक यशोदा व्यग्रतापूर्वक उसे भेजती हैं। हालाँकि, उदास किशन यशोदा के बिना नहीं रह पाता है और घर से भाग जाता है जब हर कोई उसकी तलाश में होता है। उस बेडलाम में, यशोदा किशन की रखवाली करते हुए एक दुर्घटना का शिकार हो जाती है। अंत में, अपने मातृत्व को देखते हुए देवकी बच्चे को यशोदा के पास लौटा देती है और गिर जाती है। अंत में, फिल्म खुशी की खबर के साथ समाप्त होती है कि देवकी गर्भवती है।
