My 90s Ibanez Artwood still plays and sounds fantastic. It keeps up with the big expensive boys no problem. If I had to buy another Ibanez acoustic, I'd go to Reverb and buy another Artwood.
I have an ibanez japanese make acoustic bought in 1987.. and it is smooth .. the sound is really silk .. I had shelved it for 12 yrs. Because of a cracked headstock .. got it repaiied this year and there wasn't a warp also on the guitar ... Ibanez has passed the test of time for me . Awesome guitar. 👍🏾
I have one probably from 1983 or so, guitars are constantly changing through the years, perhaps also due to different temperature and moisture, but recently I set mine up, corrected the neck and lowred it to Eb and this one is now the other one of my best (I am not wanting a Gibson now) the other is 10 or 15 year old Epiphone also newly setup and wow, how these oldies sound.

@@colindias4820 I think it is 1983 plus or minus 1 year, I bought it when I had been working on a trawler (but at that time I was in a marine engineering school) and had some money. I tried to find the serial number on the internet but could not.
Hello .. I want to buy an acoustic guitar .. but I would like to find a specific one that is a little different .. for example, I really like Gustavo Santaolalla's compositions, and specifically those of The last of us 1 and 2 .. and I would like to know which one would be better so that it is the same sound for this type of music and many more, thanks❤
I'm a huge Ibanez fan. I have an AF73 in red, an Artcore AS83 in violin burst with the most incredible flamed maple top, and a gorgeous Ibanez Artcore AF85 also in violin burst. I also owned, past tense, an Ibanez AEG10E in gloss black. Had binding on both sides of the body, a strip going down the middle of the back, binding on the neck, a gorgeous headstock, it had abalone around the sound hole, it was just a beautiful guitar overall. And it's the worst sounding acoustic guitar I've ever heard. Another RUclipsr said "this is the lowest score I've ever given any guitar". I'm hoping it's just that specific model, maybe a top material problem or something? But I'll definitely wait a long time before trying another ibanez acoustic!

A tip is to not not mic to much of the body, a hi pass filter is needed or the bass takes over the balance of the sound, Sweet guitars!
Superb playing! 👍
The best sounding model is the 140

With the Dreads being 5% bigger are the 5% less comfortable to play than a regular dreadnought?
Does anyone have anything to say about the aeg50?
I've got an Ibanez v280 from 1986
They sound tinny, can also here fret buzz.beter off with a Yamaha or seagull in my opinion.
cool
why do people call them eyebanez?
Eye dont know
😂😂😂
Aeg lacks the acoustic bass
Thought it was Ed Sheeran on the right
The microphones did not really do the instruments justice.
Idk why they all sound so tinny.
lets go to eyetaly
Oh-koo-meh. Do a little homework. It's one of the African "mahogany" variants along with Sapele and others.
