Thanks! Followed your instructions and didn’t snap any clips! The installation went smooth. For your other subscribers: If you are going from Halogen (with LED DRL) to these LEDs you’ll need a conversion harness. THANK YOU AGAIN!
I just followed your instructions and replaced mine on my 2021 Limited. HUGE thanks! I feel like without your video I would have run the risk of breaking the bottom clip (the one you recommended we push down on)
Thanks for the help . I used the info to put in LED headlights in my 2020 Tundra SR5. Hope you have more videos for your truck. Nobody has anything on 2020s. Keep it up, you make it so simple
Thanks for the support, I appreciate it!!...glad my videos are helping out!...I actually have a ton of videos on the channel, check out my playlist area...plenty more to come as well...I have the videos broken down into categories, hope that helps!
Thanks Nitro! Your video was one of if not the most clear and concise instructional tutorials I have seen on RUclips. Can you tell me what make/part number of LED turn signal bulb you decided to go with when you made the swap earlier.
After you changed them out. Did you ever get a headlight malfunction light come on? I changed the driver side light and now every so often going up good steep hill I’ll get the warning light great video helped me out a ton
Thanks Mike, I appreciate it!…I’ve never had that happen thankfully…no issues at all with em, not sure why that light would show up on ya, that’s strange!
Looks nice. If I wanted to upgrade from regular lights (TSS) To either of the head light assembly is it a plug in play? I was told these run an extra wire in the harness.
Thanks man!…yea you would need the wiring harness sold by a couple different companies…let me know if ya have trouble finding it, I’ll see if I can link I here for ya!
Excellent video! I just bought a 2020 platinum and your channel has been my go to for mods! I was wondering if you had a video about your rear tail lights?
Thanks so much, I appreciate all the feedback and support!!...and I actually don’t have one on my taillights yet but maybe I’ll throw one together today, I’ve had several people ask about them!...thanks again for supporting the channel!!
I’ve never had that happen so unfortunately I’m not much help there, I’m sorry!…I know there’s a ton of videos on RUclips showing how to fix it though, let me know how ya make out!
I have a Toyota Tundra limited 2020, just got it 1 week ago, I would like to see a vid on bed lighting. If u can, or maybe they have something OEM that I can install my self, please advise, thanks bud
Yes sir, I actually have that on my list of videos to make...I’ve had led strips installed in the bed since I bought it, it was one of my first mods...I’ll try to get that video done in the near future!
Yepper, you will just need the plug and play harness for the LED conversion… They are relatively inexpensive, you can find them online… Let me know if I can help!
I like your video. what brand are your LED amber signal light? I also have platinum 2020 crew max and I would like to get a brighter Signal light. what is your suggestion Signal LED that don't get the hyper mode? Thanks.
thanks for the feedback!!...here is the direct link to the ones I purchased, they have been working perfectly for me! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PHVUWR8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
@@NitroZ18Fishing Thank you so much for all your suggestion. I did order the part that your suggestion. it works awesome. It's perfect. Thanks again. I like the truck very much. I call Toyota corporation and told them about the Signal light didn't bright enough. And also I took a video and sent it to the Toyota Headquarter. So They make a recall that they didn't properly wire the signal light in front. So I will take to the dealership and hope that they can fix it. I will replace my platinum headlight to black just like yours. I very much appreciate all your perfect instruction.
I didn’t have to change anything with the fuses, but check your box to make sure yours didn’t blow for some reason...if they’re still intact, I would swap the bulbs and see what happens...let me know how ya make out!
Awesome as ALWAYS! You’ve convinced me to make the change to my 2019 Platinum. Dude, are you planning to upgrade your bumpers to a metal/winch bumper? Keep up the GREAT vids!
Thanks so much, I appreciate that!...I had no plans to upgrade bumpers but I have been looking more and more at the Nfab and RC front bumpers...love them...I’m saving up for a supercharger now but I think I may change out front bumper as well, def love the look!

The headlights are the OEM from Toyota, the TRD Pro LEDs...the LED stripe I have in my interior (under seats) and in the truck bed are from Bluewater LEDs...I also changed out all my interior bulbs to LEDs as well, it was a kit I got off Amazon for $20, huge difference over the stock dull yellow ones...hope that helps!
hmm, that's interesting...I didn't have to install any resistors and they work perfectly...did you have LED headlights prior to installing these?...if not, that may be the problem...you may need to add resistors or a harness in that case...hope that helps!
NitroZ18 Fishing well I ended up taking out the led turn signals and put back in the Incandescent lights back in and unhooked the resistors that came with them. I had to do some more research and I swapped the pin of white w/black wire with the purple on the connector and it works fine. I sure wanted to use the leds though.
yea the stock turn signals were wired wrong from the factory, that's why they were so dim!...not sure why the LEDs wouldn't work for ya though, sorry I couldn't be more help!
oh really?...that doesn't sound right, these LED headlights from Toyota are really bright!...I would maybe contact where you bought them from and see if they could help!
Yea it’s not that easy until ya find the route to take, and even then if ya have bigger hands it’s tough to get in there...I’ve scraped my knuckles plenty of times...haha...if ya can’t get in there to release those tabs they will release if you just pull straight out, but they’re tough the first couple times ya do it...you may even think you’re going to break it but they very rarely do

On your truck when u unlock it do the drl go on too? Oh just when u turn it on ?
With the headlights, just when I turn it on…but the Boost Auto tow mirrors I added that have DRL flash with locking/unlocking
Would this work on a 2020 SR5 as well?

Is there a fuse for the DRL lights? Mine just stopped working
What’s the market for the chrome leds? Need to unload a set TIA
Sold mine for $450 but they were like new...I’m guessing you can probably get at least $375-400...lots of guys want to upgrade to the LED’s!
Once you got the new lights in, did you have to readjust the cutoff line?
No sir, they lined up perfectly!

Did you hyperflash with turn signals?

where can i get the wiring harness if i need it to make the swap?

Where you get it from and how much they cost
I got them from Toyota of Cool Springs, ran me approx $550 for the set, give or take (can’t remember exact amount)
I wonder if these headlights is a direct fitment on a 2014 model... is it?

Hey so what do u do if the low beam and high beam
Go out ?? Are they replaceable???
Guess once the low beam or high beam
Go
Out if u wanna fix it u gotta buy a new headlight
Unfortunately yea, if they go out you have to replace the entire assembly…the good thing is these LED’s last a looong time in most cases!

What left do you have on your tundra?
It’s the 4/2 ReadyLift SST
