i think it’s really interesting as his voice matured, his music slowed. when they started the band he didn’t want to be the lead singer, but he filled the role. his voice was underdeveloped and the first two albums are more of him just shouting/saying the lyrics than anything. i think humbug was when you start to see the music really take a turn; they use spacing, have deeper guitars, and it just slows down more overall. people kind of bash their new music for taking a different direction but his voice is great now and i understand him wanting to utilize it. it shows in recent concerts when he sings rather than just shouts the lyrics to older songs, even if the tempo is pretty off. i think tlsp was also a contributing factor to their 2 recent albums, if people listened to eycte after the release of am they would not have been expecting a hard rock album from the monkeys again

I read this comment thinking it was recent, especially after Glastonbury yesterday! Shocked to see it's from 2 years ago!!! I agreed with every word said here! ❤

Some clips you can barely hear (1st one you need to crank the volume) , some are super loud. Feel free to check the audio on your video before posting.

The same thing is happening to me that the good thing is to accept my voice and people do not understand that he is a baritone and the voice changes almost every year, it is also because I must assume that I started t
