I got a 1660 ti and a amd 7 2700x cpu. It dosnt sound super high but it runs the game at med-high settings at 70 frames easy but it crashes after at most 20 minutes and least 30 seconds
Look up your "Game ready driver" and check if your Graphics Card is compatible for an upgrade. should be just a few simple clicks. also restart or update steam for good measure.
tried at least 10 different paths proposed in the interned, this included. Nothing worked so far. I'm done for today. That's why I generally don't buy games on launch day. Made an exeption for CDPR... got bitten in the ass for it.
There also are some adjustments to make to something involving GOG, check out the new links I posted. I notice that updating your drivers only worked for about 40% of the people with the issue. Check out the links In the bottom of the description

Disabled Windows Defender As a street kid, the game crashes as soon as I leave the bar 😪 I'm playing on Steam.

I am having the same exact issue - street kid crashes the moment you leave the starting area bar or as nomad it crashes the moment you enter the night city after that cut-scene sequence.
Sadly didnt worked for me i updated drivers before turned off Avast Fire storm reinstalled game same thing they need too fix this other way many people will refund game i wont but ofc i want that this problem will be solve fast
You probably have a older pc like me. Locate Cyberpunk2077.exe and open it in a hex editor Search 554881ECA00000000F2970E8 Replace with C34881ECA00000000F2970E8 Only the first byte is changed "C3" and I have played it for a bit after the crash ..all is good so far. The reason it crashes is that it made an AVX call which your cpu does not have. Game doesn't need avx to function specifically just some sloppy work from the devs.
i fix the crash problems by runnig the game using the optimization of the geforce experience program and setting the Local Shadow Mesh Quality low my specs: I7 8700 gtx 1660 TI 24gb ram ssd m.2 240gb

same thing is happening to me i'm a street kid it's right after the car pulls up next to you on the road and you pull over about to fight them

Drivers up to date, and that thing about background apps is complete bs. That's what they tell you at customer support when they want you to fuck off.

Funy i start the game perfectly but every time i try to go in night city game is crashing is the worst case game bug simply cannot play.
